Went to the one day festival in Oaxaca city, and that was a great experience. The dancing, music, and wonderful food. Don't let the name of this place fool you. It is new, clean, and a great location. The private rooms are large, with fans, and the beds are very comfortable. the staff is very friendly and helpful with things... More

I recommend hesitating giving your credit card to this business. I paid in full the morning I checked out with cash, which was witnessed by a friend. A month later I saw the same charge billed on my credit card statement - meaning they charged me twice. I got no response when I contacted them about this. Really uncool. I... More

I spent three nights there and really felt comfortable there. Very quiete, refreshing place, very clean and a good breakfast included. If u are looking for a party hostal, it's not recommendable. If you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to rest after a long day walking around in oaxaca, go there!

I really liked the location of Paulina. This hostel is located near the Zocalo. It's one of the best options that you have. Friendly staff who gave me lots of info about what to do in the area. If you like meeting others travelers, you'll have a great time here

I went on a mission trip many years ago here and had no complaints about staying here. The cost of the rooms and amenities was very affordable and was secure. Enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and wonderful location in the town for our needs.

+ breakfast: eggs, toast, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice + location: 5 min to zocalo + clean + good WiFi - only one plug in the room - if you sleep next to the street it's very noisy (and we're used to noise) - they charge you to use the internet on the computer - no atmosphere/nice furniture at... I have stayed at Hostel Paulina probably 5 times since 2007 and it's always been excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful. (I had credit card problems and they were amazing) They remember me by name when I return-and years later recognize me in the streets of Oaxaca and say hello. I agree with one reviewer that it can be noisy-but... More

It was good for relaxing and visiting around! The beds are fine but not wonderful as thought as being orthopaedic and the only bad think is the lack of sockets in our room. 2 sockets for a 9 bedroom... so it was kind of a mess. The breakfast was really good with fresh orange juice. The hostal was 2 blocks... More
