I was not very confident about this reservation, because it was really cheap and in a really good spot, but it ended up being extremely good. The staff was very nice, my room was comfortable and beautiful and I loved the common areas. I really recommend this hotel if you are traveling alone or in small groups.

This was a fairly priced hotel, not too far from the center of town. Our room was a decent size and clean, there was complimentary coffee in the morning. Overall just an average experience, there are better options within that price range in Oaxaca City

Stayed there for four night and loved it. the decoration is tastefil, service is amazing, not the greatest breakfast but it didnt matter. The travellers are an older crowd of interesting people, respectful and quiet. Great garden and right in the heart of this lovely town. Highly recommended for the price!

During our trip last summer we stayed at Posada del Centro for 3 nights and we were really pleased with our booking! The lady at the reception was very welcoming and polite, she showed us to our room which was nice, very clean and spacious enough for the two of us. It's an old colonial building that is very well... My friend and I stayed at the charming Posada del Centro in Oaxaca from April 19 to 22, 2016. I booked directly with the hotel because of its good Trip Advisor rating and central location. It turned out to be an excellent choice! Located on Avenue Independencia, it is close to the pedestrian street and only a five minute walk... More

Unfortunately for me I didn't get a lot of sleep due to the heat and the traffic noise. There was only a fan in the room and it was a very noisy fan. Other than that the place was lovely, the staff were friendly, they spoke English well, and its location was close to the central square.

Nice little hotel. Serves the purpose if you are visiting Oaxaca to really tour the town and not relax at the hotel. Wife and I stayed for 4 nights total. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Door closes at about 11 pm, although there is somebody there 24 hrs a day if you arrive late. Management was very nice and... More

A nice older little hotel built around several patios (choose the rear if you can to avoid street noise). Lots of flowering plants and trees and simple rooms. Only a couple of blocks from the zocalo and the 20 de noviembre mercado. Reasonable price and efficient staff. Added bonus: great little cafe (Xuncu Choco) on premises. We would return.

Beautiful courtyard where you can just chill if you don't want to go out. You can even order food from the adjacent restaurant and eat it there. Rates are decent, staff is nice and helpful, great location walking distance from zocalo and restaurants. Because the rooms open onto the courtyard, it can be noisy, even with the sign from management... More
