When I was planning my trip to Oaxaca for Christmas I was looking for several places but when I saw La Casa de las Bugambilias it caught my attention and more because I was looking for a typical place with a home atmosphere and not just a hotel. When I arrived late at night at La casa de las Bugambilias, I was immediately welcomed by Juan, heading to my room and explaining everything. The next morning I went to the dining room to have breakfast and so I could appreciate La Casa de las Bugambilias! OMG. The place is beautiful and with a home design with bright colors that made me feel alive and happy and when I went to the dining room Oh my God ... a long ornate table and the dining room with such a beautiful decoration. As soon as I sat down I was immediately greeted by Juanita, Paula, Malena from the kitchen, who by the way smelled so delicious that morning's breakfast. I was treated with the best attention and service and the food was not to mention fresh and delicious. They treated me like I was the member of the family. And so it was every 6 days that I was in the house enjoying the food, the stay, the terrace, and most importantly the treatment of all the members of the La Casa de las Bugambilias!! If I had to go one more time to Oaxca I would definitely come to this same place! If you want to be in a typical place in Oaxaca but with a personal touch and very close to all the attractions in Oaxaca and most importantly the best service and quality by Juanita, Paula, Malena and Juan. I recommend it a thousand times. Thank you, Maria

Great location in a great town. Loved the comfortable room and great Mexican style breakfast. Highly recomend and the office helped with side trips to the local towns for pottery, weaving, carving and textiles. Also hiking in the mountains and horseback riding. So much to see and so little time. We will be back.

Casa de las Bumgambilias provided a very comfortable home base during our stay in Oaxaca. The rooms are very comfortable, with a modern bathroom, and have lots of local art. They start your day with a delicious breakfast, and can tell you where there are some great places for lunch and dinner. It's right in the middle of town, and it seems like there's always something interesting happening. There are several great museums, and the ethnic botanical garden is a cultural showpiece. The local food features ingredients that are ui
