Stayed here many years ago, at that time there was no web reviews. This place is so good. The building is fascinating is like being in a novel of Frida Kalo. Fantastic ambience. In-house guests can dine in the beautiful courtyard where the food is sublime. Everything is perfect, the staff are friendly and simply special. This place is Lil... More

I had read about this hotel years ago and when we were finally able to go this year, it met all of our expectations. My husband I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful environment, lovely staff who were attentive and helpful; and, the delicious breakfasts we had each day - particularly the wonderful fruit juices and drinks. I was advised that most... More

casa Oaxaca Inn is a beautiful small property. we did not stay there, but wanted to eat on their lovely outdoor terrace. After two tries, the gentleman at front desk said they had room for us for dinner. We were told the in was completely booked and there were no tables.. Well, we were the only ones there eating! It... Like a true speakeasy, this hidden gem of a hotel is easily overlooked by the passing traveller. There is no bold sign advertising the niche hotel associated with one of Oaxaca’s most well known restaurants. Nor is there an easy way in for passing travellers to marvel at it’s tree covered courtyard, or stroll in to partake of one of... More

In the courtyard it feels like an oasis of calm whilst eating a very good breakfast in the warm air but sheltered from direct sunlight if preferred. The rooms are more functional than wonderful but they fit with the general atmosphere of the building. The pool was lovely for cooling off after hot days exploring Oaxaca itself. All in all... More

This incredible hacienda has been renovated so elegantly and with all modern creature comforts. Our room, number 6, is the grandest room in the hotel. It is opulent and transports you to another era. The most wonderful part of our stay at Casa Oaxaca was effort the staff went to for our "honeymoon"...upon returning from dinner on our first night,... More

Beutiful premises of a tipi al old Mexican house. Very few rooms but very clean, comfortable and cozy. Make your reservation at least 2 months on advance to make sure they have occupancy. The restaurant is extremely good, serving modern Mexican food. The hotel is located in a safe area close to most of the important landmarks and attractions in... More

We loved Oaxaca city and casa oaxaca, such a great end to our pacific road trip thru mexico. Took us longer than anticipated getting here from the coast due to the steep and winding roads, but so worth it once here. In a lovely part of town with lots of plazas and interesting shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Had dinner... More

Casa Oaxaca is a delightfully secluded oasis in the heart of town. The service exceeded our expectations, with every employee going out of their way to help and make our visit enjoyable. Thank you Adrid, Florencio and Tino, and all the others who turned down our bed, prepared our delicious meals and chilled margaritas, and always greeted us with smiles.... More

This was our New Year's Eve dinner, and everything about it was perfect. The space is gracious, in a courtyard of the boutique hotel. The tables are set well apart, and the service is very attentive, in a completely non-obtrusive way. The food was extraordinary The first course was one wild mussel with saffron, pineapple and chilli. It was a... More
