This was a great alternative to staying in the fumes of the bustling, noisy city center. The hotel offers hourly vans for the fifteen minute ride into town, and cabs are so cheap that we absolutely loved being in the foothills with a view of the entire valley down below. We opted for the minimal cost of an upgrade to... More

First let me say, this hotel is perfectly acceptable for the price. It's very affordable and has all the amenities you might need. The pool is ok, could use more chairs as they are a hot commodity in the afternoon. Be warned, the water is very cold. The view from the terrace is beautiful, if you're lucky you'll have the... After my second stay this year at the Hotel Victoria all that I can say is that I was again amazed by the property. The staff is wonderful, the views are STUNNING, and the restaurant was as good as ever. I have updated this post with new photos and would highly recommend the Hotel Victoria to anyone traveling through Oaxaca,... More

here attend to your every need. The rooms we had did lack a refrigerator but the luxurious bed made up for that...I didn't even miss my own. We ate most breakfasts here because it was so good. The dinners are fantastic at El Tule too. I have only one regrettable issue - my husband was mugged at knife point on... More

we didn't stay here but came for drinks and food to enjoy the view on the outdoor terrace. the menu is pretty amerincaized. we shared a quesadilla, club sandwich, nachos, and fries. it was all ok. the service was good. but the views made up for that. lovely way to spend a couple of hours. if you have bad knees... We stayed here for a week long meeting in November 2014, and it was a very good one. The room was quite large (I got the furthest one up) with splendid city and hills view from the balcony. The staffs were friendly and helpful, though not many of them speaks english. But they understand if we need anything. Breakfast and... More

My room was number 806. It had a balcony and amazing views over the city. The first night we stayed it was packed and we had our meal up in the bar. By the time the food got to us it was cold but I am told by fellow travellers that they ate in the resteraunt and good wa Google.... More

This hotel was ok. The rooms were dirty don't walk barefoot because your feet will be black even the carpet. There was three of us in the room and every night we had to ask for towels because they only would give us two towels. Lots of noise it looked like they were working on something right next to our... I had the good fortune of staying at the Hotel Victoria this month and it was an amazing experience. The location is the hills over-looking the town of Oaxaca is perfect. The grounds are manicured and immaculate all over-looking stunning views. See my photo of the sunrise over Oaxaca. This was taken from the balcony of my hotel, it was... More

We had a junior suite which was quite comfortable and we had nice dinners at the hotel restaurant, both from the point of view of the good dishes and reasoable prices, and from the scenic view. The wifi was unbelievably bad, my email had to be reconnedted almost every minute. The hotel is not in the center, rather on the... More
