We found this lovely home and booked for 10 days. Our hosts Juan and Rebeca made us feel like part of the family. Juan was an informative historian who chatted with us every morning. We enjoyed the lovely traditional breakfasts along with fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, coffee and famous Oaxacan hot chocolate. Juanita and Conchita worked their magic in... More

One of the best parts of travel is to have a genuine, authentic experience wherever you go. If you are looking for such in Oaxaca, I definitely recommend a stay at Villa Oaxaca! My buddy and I had the pleasure to stay there for 4 nights in October 2015. What a gem! I much prefer staying in a normal neighborhood... More

We got off to a rough start due to our airline. The staff at Villa Oaxaca was MORE than accommodating. Rebecca and Patti truly did treat us like family and went above and beyond to ensure that we had pleasant as well as memorable stay in Oaxaca. They informed us of several places to go (that weren't online) on top... More

A great location within an easy bus ride from downtown. Loved having a swim at day's end. The family was helpful in providng me with a take-awaty breakfast on the days I need to leave before their 8:30 AM scheduled breakfasts, callliing taxis when my Spanish was not up to the ask, etc. I look forward to another visit.

This was a fantastic place. A little away from the noisy turistic parts of oaxaca. The owneres Rebeca and Juan were fantastic hosts. Juan is a very knowledgable oaxacan full of stories and history about the place. It was a true pleasure to chat with him at breakfast. While Rebeccca and the friendly staff (juanita) made a diffrenet platillo oaxaqueño... More

This exceptionally beautiful villa is located in a quiet section of Oaxaca, not far from the centre of town. The place is immaculate, the beds are comfortable and the breakfasts offer a generous selection that will keep you satisfied until dinner time. [This included fresh fruit and home-squeezed juices, delicious baking and a large main course that allowed us to... More

This is a real jewel and an amazing value. Breakfast every morning with the family who runs it chatting us up was a lot of fun. Good location only 5-10 minutes from most attractions and a quiet gated property felt really private and secluded at night. There is wi-fi in the main house where you have breakfast but not in... This bed and breakfast is roughly 10km of the city center but don't let 10km fool you, it's about a 25 min car ride. With that said, the facility offers great rooms at a competitive price. It's only a five room bed and breakfast that offers personalized service and morning breakfast. I had a rental and was allowed to park... More

The hotel itself is fine. I struggled with the distance from the city centre. I had some difficulties finding taxi drivers that could read the written instruction on how to get to the hotel. Given that I was on my own that was a bit scary.

Hello Anna, We are very sorry that you didn't feel safe coming to our B&B, we always try to explain to all the Taxi companies how to get here, but it is a bit difficult to make sure they give the drivers the instructions. I would also like to know your comments on our service and the property itself, to... More

This is a great place to stay in Oaxaca. The owners and staff make you feel like family. They are also very supportive and have great knowledge about their history and traditions. Breakfast is simply great!
