The standard in rooms is higher than average in Mexico. Breakfast is included (nothing fancy but enough). Hostel has a nice common area including a rooftop terrace. On Sunday evening there is a barbecue with cheap burgers and quesadillas. Hostel is run by a very friendly, young staff that will be happy to provide you a lot of information about...

This hostel has a really friendly vibe, probably due to the amazing staff who make everyone feel welcome. The facilities are new and clean (even in the larger dorms) and the owner Connie goes out of her way to help you maximize your time in Oaxaca. Lots of social activity without being too full on. Definitely recommend this place.

After staying in a few small and cramped private rooms on other hostels whilst travelling this room was amazing! The private room had a courtyard, ensuite room and had plenty of room. the Wifi was good, breakfast was good, the tours they offer are good but the only issue was the rooftop closes really early so you cant go up...

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Angel! The private ensuite room was definitely worth the extra pesos and even came with a little outdoor area. The included breakfast was very good and the eggs were freshly made to order every morning. Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooftop terrace was a great place to enjoy the sunshine. The only...

Great hostel very close to the action in Oaxaca. Excellent friendly staff, great wifi, clean rooms and good breakfast with eggs, bread, salsa and beans. My only recommendation would be to not book any tours through the hostel - try and organise activities elsewhere. Our tour was overtime, unorganised and spent very little time at the main event (hierve el...

Stayed in a private room for 4 nights for day of the dead. The Hostel is very clean and well run with helpful, friendly staff and an excellent included breakfast. There are a number of small supermarkets and a laundry nearby as well. Definitely recommended.

The staff at Casa Angel were amazing. On arrival, Connie gave us a map and pointed out some great spots for dinner, drinks and sightseeing. The location is also really good. 5min walk from the Zocalo.. lots of great restaurants and bars in the area. The hostel rooms are so nice... I booked a private room and it was nicer...

The incredibly helpful staff really made a difference when we were planning activities around Oaxaca. the room was clean and the bathroom was really nice. We booked a cooking class through the hostel and it was one our most enjoyable experiences in Mexico. Can't recommend it enough if you stay here.

The place is neat tidy and clean, being maintained all day long. Staff is very helpful and nice, with real tips and not self advertising. Lacks activity and does not make use of the rooftop. Fun and calm to stay here, conditions are good. Not the most fun place I've been to.
