My husband and I stayed for three weeks recently at the Casa Cid de Leon. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, it was there. The Casa is very near the historic centre and a lovely pedestrian street with excellent shops and cafes. We walked everywhere easily because of the location. Breakfasts are served...

My wife and I spent 7 nights in the first floor Dominica suite. The room is huge, with a king- size bed, a large sitting area with full size couch, table with two chairs, small refrigerator and many interesting decorative items. There is also another bedroom with a double bed, desk and chair. The bathroom was adequate, with an outdated...

This is a very small boutique hotel with only about 6 rooms. When we arrived with our toddler in tow, they were able to switch rooms to get us in the one with a toddler crib/bed. We were so appreciative of how accommodating they were able to be. The staff was so friendly as we came and went from the...

Casa Cid de Leon is a fantastic, boutique hotel perfectly located in Centro Oaxaca. It's a block away from the Zacalo, the plaza mayor of the city. The hotel is small, six bedrooms restored in part to a classical period when Spain governed Mexico. It's absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. It's within easy walking distance to several museums, art galleries and...

What a beautiful place to stay. We had a great suite on the first floor. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and a good price. Our room had a king size bed and a second room with a double bed. There was a sitting area. The artwork and antiques were so quaint.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel, just a little over a block from Oaxaca's zocalo/alameda. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly and informative. Also, most of the staff we encountered either spoke pretty good English or was able to deal with my badly fractured Spanish. The rooftop terrace was great for breakfast, tho we only...

I could repeat everything other posts have said....Perfect location, excellent staff who assist in meeting every request.A UNIQUE find that is beautifully decorated in a style that reflects the area, spotlessly clean and a breakfast on the rooftop that can't be beat with local cuisine served with a smile by two sweet ladies who I won't mention their names but know how...

The service and location of this small hotel makes it a must to stay in Oaxaca. Well maintained, and beautifully decorated rooms. Do not miss the breakfast in the roof-terraza, delicious food with all the Oaxacan flavour. The staff recommended us tours and places to visit and we were not disappointed. You experience the best of Oaxacan hospitality, and decor...
