Returned to this Hotel after a year and was pleasantly surprised at changes that have been made. The beds have been updated and were very comfortable. The internet has been upgraded and now works very well all over the property. As before it is very clean, the grounds are very well taken care of and are beautiful, the pool is... More

I stayed there for 5 days for a scientific conference. The overall experience is very rewarding, I must say. It has a resort type feeling which I really loved. There are lots of greenery around this hotel complex which made my stay relaxing as I love to be close to the nature ! When you walk towards your room after... More

Quiet local and easy walk to plaza Other great restaurants near hotel Staff without exception were super. A lot of police were located in the hotel. There were no issues and it became a non issue. Tour of mescal plant and hand crafted rugs were fabulous. interesting moles Pyramids old and amazing reminded me of Mexico city Nestled in a... More

Staff were pleasant. Rooms were clean. Room amenities and toiletries were adequate. It has a nice size swimming pool but unfortunately we didn't have the time to utilize it. The morning buffet breakfast spread was pretty good. The hotel does look tired and dated and in dire need for some upgrades. Wi-fi is great at the lobby and restaurant area.... More

This hotel somehow typefies the state of Mexico as a whole: charming and colourful but rather disfunctional. The original building was a grand villa, which has been subsumed into a resort hotel. It has an army of staff of all ranks, all with their own special uniforms. Yet many of them seem to spend a lot of time standing around,... More

Great place with free wi-fi that actually WORKS, free parking, very large pool, luscious landscaping and large rooms---all at a great price. Room was very clean and service was friendly. We got excellent directions to Monte Alban---and a map!

We just spend 10 days at this Hotel and got to know it rather well. Before arriving I was a bit puzzled by the mixed reviews, ranging from high praise to strong criticism. My conclusion is that ones reaction to the hotel depends what one focuses on, and which room one stays in. We stayed in room 902, a beautiful... More

It is a beautiful property, with luscious gardens and good friendly service. The rooms are very large, very clean and with the usual amenities. Water bottles are left in the room daily as is coffee. Linens are changed daily, impeccably clean. The TV if you use it is full of English and some European channels. The restaurant is wonderful for... More

we were there for two nights only. the hotel sounds very good on paper but the fittings didnt work, drinking water was rationed and the service was surly and lousy. no vegetarian options in the food. wifi was non existent. worse still, the water in the taps ran dry and as we were supposed to leave at about 3.30 am,...
