We arrived here late after a delayed flight. It was clean and comfortable and all the staff was helpful and hospitable. We had breakfast there the next morning that was tasty and headed on our way to Tlalixtac. We didn't get the opportunity to hang at the bar, but it looked lovely and well stocked. We would definitely stay here... More

Loved this little hotel 4 blocks from central. Walls hand painted. Have to pay for breakfast but it was inexpensive and the menu is adequate. Staff were helpful. It is a reasonable walk to the market and other attractions but staff will help with transport of required. Traffic can be a problem in Oaxaca so allow 30 - 40 minutes... More

Hotel "Los Pilares" is one of the best hotels, where I had a chance to stay. There was a great service, the staff was very hospital and attentative. The hotel is situated near to the centre of the city, next to the most beautiful cathedral which I have ever seen. My special greats to the owners of the hotel for... More

I suspect every hotel in Oaxaca is noisy, and this was no exception. All rooms look out onto sometimes-noisy courtyard. Voices carry and people return late from dinner or the bar and then chat in the lounge...really noisy. Breakfast is expensive but decent...still, the rooms and ambience made for a very pleasant stay. Beautiful flowers, a gorgeous pool area...we already... More

We recently stayed at Los Pilares for seven nights. We had breakfast every morning and a cocktail every evening on the lovely terrace. Our room was on the terrace level, so we would step out of our door onto the beautiful area filled with plants and flowers. (At first we thought it would be noisy staying next to the restaurant/... There were huge fragrant lilies throughout the hotel which is as picturesque as the photos. Our room were very attractive with modern bath. We loved the breakfast staff and the breakfast was excellent. Elias is the man to go to at the front desk. He is so nice and helpful. Pilar, one of the owners, inquired about our stay and... More

We ended out Mountain Bike trip at Los Pilares after a few days in the mountains. We loved the location and were impressed by the staff. We were created with a nice Aguas Fresca and they were very helpful in storing our bikes while we explored the city. It is only a few blocks from the church square and the... More

We stayed here for 4 days in February and truly enjoyed the hotel. Elias at the front desk was extremely helpful and ungraded us to a wonderful room ( ? 7 ) on first floor. This hotel was the best part of our week long stay in Oaxaca. We had a room on the upper terrace, near the patio and eating area. It was immaculate and very comfortable with a security safe and mini-fridge. Between touring and adventures, we would relax among the potted palms and fragrant lilies. As an option, you could have meals... More
