This is the second time I stayed in a City Express and unfortunately it was a similar experience. First of all, most of the guys in the front desk are inexpert, therefore his service tend to be mediocre. Secondly, the Internet is terrible. I only could work from my room once, the rest of my stay was impossible. Third, the... More

The rooms were simple but very nice. Impressed that the bed was firm but very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to a shopping center and many restaurants within walking distance. Transportation was easy as you have the metro rail across the street and taxi service as well.

Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of food, stores in walking distance. Our room was very quiet even though it faced the busy street. The restaurant was also good and priced well. Would stay here again.

This is the first time I have stayed in this location, but have stayed in many other City Express hotels elsewhere and all went well. Nothing fancy but clean comfy rooms, booked for 1 night, it is well located and I am familiar with Mexico City and the hotel name/ chain. I do not ever review my business trips, but... More

I will definitely stay there again. Located next to a Metrobus stop. 30 minutes from Zocalo and 1.5 hours from Xochimilco (by public transportation). The only thing that they have to improve is the wifi connection. It was not stable. I had to connect from the lobby, instead from my room.

We spent one night at this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had an early bird flight. The room was very clean and large however I wish we could have picked a different room. Our room was at the end of the first floor near the exit to the smoking area. So all night long we... More

Location is one of the main assets of this business-oriented big hotel. I checked-in here for a two-trip in Mexico city, and this hotel is just in front of the government offices I was going to, so this was a no-brainer for a city famous for hours-long traffic jams. Rooms are modern, tidy and spacious, with firm but comfortable beds.... More

An inexpensive large budet hotel right on the metrobus line way down in the southwestern part of mexico city. OK breakfast included, restaurant in the hotel and another fast food restaurant next door. Nice service but with many Mexican guests not always speaking good english. My main objection is that it is really far from the center, and the room... More

I just stayed here for 6 nights on a business trip to Mexico City. The hotel is well-located, just steps from the Teatro Insurgentes MetroBus stop. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with two restaurants (Vips and an Argentine place) attached. Breakfast is included and is quite good and plentiful: eggs, beans, fruit, bread, cereal, juice. The rooms are fairly... More

I stayed her based on location close to work meetings in Mexico City but had some issues. The breakfast left much to be desired though I guess it goes with the price point. The gym was completely lacking since there are no weights, the bike couldn't be adjusted, the treadmill band was stuck and thus unusable, which left only the... More

“cheap, but ask for a room with a window.”

“I had an inside room far from the elevator which had a view of a courtyard that was covered by some kind of canopy. While it was quiet I had no sense of what things were like outside. At one point there was a huge storm and I was completely unaware of it. Request an outside room. There may be some street noise but at least you won't feel like you're staying in a cocoon.”

“Should you book online, be sure to get a confirmation, though. I did not check that and when I arrived there was no more room available. So I checked into another hotel for a night and then moved to the Cityexpress.”
