Hippodrome is a small well-designed hotel in an old art deco mansion. It's located on a park in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by cool restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everyone seems to have a smile on their face, and the housekeepers even waved to us from the window when we left. There is always at...

The Hippodrome has overcome its growing pains and it's now a professionally run top notch hotel in the most appealing neighborhood of Mexico City. Particularly enjoyed a well served lunch that was simple elegant and delicious. Congrats!

Third visit this year alone. Excellent staff, decent internet connection and excellent rooms in terms of size and functionality. TV channels could be upgraded to offer more basic english language channels (BBC, CNN Intl - not just CNN Espanol - and ESPN English would be ideal) .. The opening of their new Bistro Hipp is the cherry on top ..

I truly enjoyed my staying. The hotel is very intimate. The room was cozy. The staff always smiley. The breakfast excellent. Will be back. Only downside perhaps the size of the sink and sink cabinet in the bathroom.

Great service. Small boutique. Good bfast included. Great airport pickup and droppoff service. Hotel key card system needs a major upgrade. The nightly bar and turnover service was nice. Great location to walk Condessa and walk to Roma.

Small hotel, housed in a lovely older building. I stayed here on two occasions in quick succession. The first room was quite small, but nicely decorated. The second was slightly larger with a very small terrace and small seating area. Both were dark but quiet and comfortable. Good showers and WiFi, plus free drinks and snacks in the room. There...

The architecture is Art Deco, the interior is newly updated but keeps the Art Deco flavor. The staff knocks themselves out to make sure you have what you need to be comfortable. The Hotel sits on the edge of a lovely safe park. The surrounding streets are walkable, and because the area is trendy there is a plethora of restaurants...
