Not sure why there are such negative reviews - I had a pleasant stay at this hotel from start to finish. Check in was smooth, room was spacious and clean, staff was very courteous and I was provided with great dinner recommendations. Breakfast in the lounge was sufficient. If you want a full, hot breakfast, you can always go their... More

Crowne Plaza's location is good. close to the WTC and restaurants like "la Strega"and the "Bellini". there is a movie theater close by and shops. Not far from business spots and away from the crazy traffic at Avenida Reforma, good place for business people. Some months of the year are very expensive, but most of the times it has a... More

I was disappointed by the standard of this hotel. The Executive lounge breakfast a miserly affair. It was never ever set at 6.30...or even by 7 . There was hardly any variety or change . The attendants were usually only one or two so if you ask for even salt it used to take a while . The floor (8)... More

The room's dark, no lights. There were stains on the bed sheets. The chain on the door broke (no security) Giant wet spot on the carpet in middle of the room. Internet doesn't work. I could keep going...this used to be such a great option when coming to Mexico for business. Usually come to Mexico 8 or 9 times a... More

I travel to Mexico City frequently and have stayed here on/off a few times each year over the past 3 years between the regular and the "executive" floors. 2 years ago the hotel made an honest mistake (I assume) and checked someone else into my room who came in with their luggage while I was settling into bed around midnight.... As many travelers have mentioned, the location is fantastic - 1 short block to the World Trade Center and many great restaurants and cafes all around, a little mall with a grocery store, etc. Great seafood restaurant practically right across the street! The hotel food is very overpriced compared to local eateries, so probably not worthwhile unless you're doing room... More

For business travel I believe this is a good option, the only down side is the weak internet service. Overall is clean but needs improvement, I believe is a little bit old and some bedroom areas needs remodeling. Staff is friendly in majority of the areas but not out of the ordinary.
