Hotel Habana has great value, double rooms, clean, large rooms with king size beds, bathroom for M$320, can't get that in Latin Americas mainly overpriced hostels. Good location not far from Metro Allende, and the Plazas of Centro Historica.

We stayed here during renovation in February 2011. It smelled of paint, but that was inevitable. Everything was impeccably clean, very large bed, and we paid around 260 pesos per night.
There is no breakfast here but you have options within walking distance.
