just v nice vibes, and a great location, really kind and helpful management. v happy to recommend if you're looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay in a cool area. I found myself in a slightly tricky situation and received loads of advice and help from the manager.

Stella is an absolute bohemian gem in the gorgeous and hip Condesa neighbourhood. The staff are amazing and the manager Rodrigo was outstandingly generous from bookings and with advice on places to see + eat + markets + museums + galleries, he even arranged us a private driver for four days. The house is unique - private, surrounded by a...

This little B+B is located in a two building property (main house and rear house) with garden between. All the rooms are unique and tastefully appointed. Wifi is good. Breakfast is nice, but could have more options (if you are staying longer than 3-4 days). Evening fruit. Free espresso and ironing. Smoking is allowed, which wafted into my room (hence...

Stella is located on one of the city's most beautiful streets and close to great cafes, bookstores, little parks, etc. The office for signing up for the free bike system (ecobici) is also just around the corner. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated with 20th C furniture and fixtures. Breakfast is delicious and made by lovely ladies, and the garden...

We stayed 5 nights at Stella B&B and can highly recommend it. Located in the lovely Condesa area - no metro within easy access but a very central location to visit different parts of the city. Wonderful home cooked breakfast with a different Mexican option every day. Our room was a bit damp but otherwise rooms are comfortable and the...

Stella B&B is a perfect place to stay in Mexico City. It's located in a hip and chic neighborhood of Hipódromo Condesa. The beautiful 1930's style home was very welcoming and just a really neat place to stay. I will definitely stay here again. The room was nice, cozy, and private. The bed was comfortable. It's walking distance to Parque...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stella is a bed and breakfast located on Amsterdam Avenue in the Condesa neighborhood, Mexico City. The house was designed and built in 1930 by Francisco Serrano, one of the great architects of his generation, who built the Edificio Basurto and Pasaje Polanco, among other Mexico City landmarks. The house was restored in 2010, respecting the original design and period finishes. The décor at Stella mixes art deco and vintage furniture with a stunning collection of Mexican contemporary art. It is clear that each piece of furniture, lighting and artwork has been chosen carefully to complement its specific space. Stella has seven rooms, four in the main house and three in a separate guest house. The hotel uses its own water treatment plant, a rain water retrieval system and solar panels as part of our commitment to the environment. ... more   less
