Hotel's Favorite
The level of hospitality and professionalism from the staff was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. The rooms were extremely comfortable, anything you could need or want was provided. From Arturo in the terrace bar, to the lovely women at the front desk and the kind young man who helped us with our bags, our stay here has been so wonderful. The moment we step into the lobby or outside, we are always greeted warmly and provided guidance in terms of dining or transportation. I will never forget my stay, it has made my visit to the beautiful city of Mexico that much more special. Thank you!!!

First time using this hotel in Mexico City and I was very impressed. A 2 night visit for work,
Covid measures mean no restaurant/ bar etc but the room service menu is comprehensive and accessed via a QR code on the tv screen.
The hotel felt really safe and well in control regarding Covid. Everything in the room like towels etc was sealed in a bag.
All staff were wearing masks with screens also at reception.
There is an excellent view from the rooms on the front and there are several nice looking restaurants nearby so in different times I imagine it’s a great location.
About 40 minutes from the airport.
My Spanish is very poor but there is an excellent standard of English at reception etc.

Friendly staff in all areas. Would recommend if staying in this area.

The views are amazing. The rooms are modern and beautiful (except the USB cords are all torn up). So if you are on a business trip from the states you will have to watch your downlaoded or VPN based streaming on your phone. The staff is awesome. The hotel is a highrise but based on the number of rooms smaller than you would expect. (There are only 9 rooms per floor) The service and attentiveness is remarkable. Honestly, the only drawback is the breakfast food. But wven that was still good. I will definitely recommend you stay here. The location is near a large mall, banks, the tollway, and a ton of restaurants. The area is clean and safe.

First of all, let´s make clear this hotel has nothing to do with its big brother, the one at Polanco. That one is a 5 stars. This is probably a 4. The lobby, on an upper floor of a building, is elegant, but simple.
Our room included a sofa and a round table with 4 chairs, separated by a glass. The bathroom has a shower, no tub, and a very strange use of space. Make sure lo lock the door when using the toilet, or otherwise you might get a door slam on your knees.
Actually there are strange holes and niches in different corners.
Unexpectedly, the room also included a kitchenette with sink and 2 burners, and a washing/drying machine. I guess it´s intended for long stays.

View is awesome. Rooms mostly clean (stained sofa). Bed comfortable and warm. Restroom was clean and roomy. Food was I had expected they would serve, chilaquiles were stale. Orange juice was not fresh as I as told, but service at the restaurant was great. Check in was quick and overall I felt safe in and outside the hotel. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because on my way to the hotel I got lost, the address on their website takes you to a different spot in the area when using iphone maps and goggle maps. So after a while I called the front desk so they could guide me. The first time I called the lady said that they were next to some hotel, then across from it, then next to a specific car dealership, etc. I was trying to concentrate to look for what she said when she hung up. The second time I called, a lady ( and I am not sure if it was the same person) answer and I told her that whoever I was talking to hung up on me and I still not could not find the hotel. She immediately said that that person did not hung up on me, that the call dropped, instead of apologizing for it. Then she started to tell me where the hotel was and out of everything she said, she mentioned that their hotel was the only with a big screen right outside the property. Well it turns out the hotel is not next to other hotels. It's surrounded with restaurants and the the car dealerships close to it are not the ones they both mentioned. Then the person who helped with our luggage noticed that the window screen wouldn't come down so he said he would send someone to fix it, no one eve came, even after we called front desk to remind them. Also, their website stated that they had transportation available for a fee with 5 km front hotel. I called way before to make sure they had transportation available for Christmas eve, and to know their schedule. When I arrived they told me their transportation was basically the taxi base. So I ask them if they were safe, she said, of course we wouldn't send you with just anybody. I told them to have the taxi ready at 8:30 pm, when the time came they said all taxi are busy no one is answering to to just get an Uber ( which we did), but it made me upset that they did not let me know they were having a hard time getting a taxi so we could have been prepared. So now you know, they do not have their own "executive taxi)transportation as they said when I first talked to them, they just call a cab from the taxi base they work with.

We got one of the rooms with floor to ceiling windows almost at the highest floor, so the view was great. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed comfort not the best, a bit hard for my liking.

We had breakfast in the small club restaurant by the lobby, the offering was a bit limited but enough for our purposes.

I am not sure whether there´s a bar in the hotel or a restaurant (except for the club space) but there are several independent restaurants in the same building and in the area. Easy to walk to the nearby shopping mall.

The hotel Paragon is very well located! Only a walking distance to Centro Santa Fe shopping mall and also it’s a walking distance (10 min)
To Parque Mexicana. Plus, they’re plenty of coffee shops , restaurants and fast foods nearby so you won’t be hungry in case you don’t wanna end up ordering high prices IRD of the hotel.
The view of my room was pretty nice to skyscrapers and skyline of SantaFe which I loved it!
The king bed’s mattress is extremely comfortable.
The shower has a really beautiful view ! It will surprise you I assure you!
They have some magazines and a book in the room and a coffee machine which all are some advantages of this hotel, the security team are so professional and the building itself is very well built with the best materials.
Maybe if my room had a bath tub it could be better.
Thanks to reception and bellboys team especially Diana!
The hotel is recommended

Sitting on top of the Santa Fe area, this hotel offers much more than a stunning, breathtaking view from the guest rooms. We received a warm welcome from the well-prepared staff and an even warmer farewell. They appeared genuinely concerns about us having the best of our time. Rooms are spacious, well kept, clean. It’s now my favorite Intercontinental in Mexico City.

I recently stayed here 1 night for business.
To start off with the good . . . the staff of the hotel (outside of front desk, which I will explain) was extremely friendly and accommodating. Greetings, offers of help, etc, make you feel welcome and attended to.
Location is great for business. Very convenient to lots of food choices, etc.
Hotel is very tall and grand looking. The view from the room is impressive. The size of the room is okay, and the bathroom is very modern with glassed-in shower, etc.
However, I felt the front desk management did NOT do a good job, and there were some issues with the room as well.
First off, I made a mistake. There are 2 Intercontinental Presidente Hotels in Mexico City. I in fact reserved the wrong one. The staff did call the other hotel, and help cancel the reservation (it was past the cancellation deadline). I had reserved the other hotel for $250 a night, but unfortunately, this hotel ended up costing $420 a night with taxes.
The front desk really wasn't sure what rate to charge me . . . they switched from English to Spanish in front of me to discuss rate . . . but I knew what they were talking about. Why not just tell me what the issue is directly? I interrupted them and said, "Just please charge me your best rate available".
Okay, while not totally happy with that experience, at least I had a room for the night close to my customer location, instead of having to taxi 1 hour to the other Presidente hotel.
Room issues . . . at $420 a night, I was expecting something fantastic. The room was nice, but had pencil/pen markings on the desk, wall, and window shades. Not completely clean.
I also had 2 not-so-nice surprises in the morning. First, the hot water in my shower did not work. It took about 10 minutes to finally warm up (not hot, just warm). Second, there was NO hair dryer anywhere in the room! $420 a night, huh?
All of this could have been EASILY handled at checkout. While the front desk personnel were cheerful, no one asked me how my stay was. So, I gave them my feedback unsolicited.
At this point, the Front Desk manager interjects, "DID YOU CHECK ALL THE DRAWERS?!?"
Are you kidding me??? Yes, I needed a hairdryer to dry my hair, so yes I checked all the drawers in the entire room, not just the bathroom, if it even matters to you.
Hey "Manager", How about an apology? Or seeing how you can make it right? You added NOTHING to the conversation, and you easily could have.
Overall, I received very poor value and had a poor experience here. I was surprised, as I read many positive reviews. Maybe the front desk management was having a bad day.
So, I would hope you have a better stay. I did rate the hotel a 3 instead of 2 because I messed up the reservation initially, and they helped me out. And the non-front desk staff was very gracious.
I won't stay at this hotel again. My experiences at the nearby JW Marriott and NH Santa Fe have been far better . . . I should have just stayed with either of them. Consider those hotels as worthy alternatives to this hotel.
I did provide the hotel the courtesy of responding to my concerns via direct feedback rating email from their hotel. I consider that only fair if I am going to report a negative experience. However, I received no reply to my feedback, even after requesting it.

Dear guest, First of all I would like to thank you for giving us your comments, they are very important to us and please be assured that I have already taken care of the situation that you mentioned and involved every department in its solution. As you accurately mentioned, there are two InterContinental hotels in Mexico City, one located in Polanco and the second one in Santa Fe Business District. During your stay with us you have been lodged in a 60 square meters King Suite that features a balcony and an amazing view of the whole city, even the Volcanoes in the early morning. As one of our standards we have removed the electronic devices such as the hair dryer from the plugs and have placed them in an elegant bag that is located in one of the bathroom drawers. Once again, thank you for important feedback. Best regards, Bernard Verones Gerente General / General Manager
