We got one of the rooms with floor to ceiling windows almost at the highest floor, so the view was great. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed comfort not the best, a bit hard for my liking. We had breakfast in the small club restaurant by the lobby, the offering was a bit limited but enough for our purposes. I am not sure whether there´s a bar in the hotel or a restaurant (except for the club space) but there are several independent restaurants in the same building and in the area. Easy to walk to the nearby shopping mall.
First of all, let´s make clear this hotel has nothing to do with its big brother, the one at Polanco. That one is a 5 stars. This is probably a 4. The lobby, on an upper floor of a building, is elegant, but simple. Our room included a sofa and a round table with 4 chairs, separated by a glass. The bathroom has a shower, no tub, and a very strange use of space. Make sure lo lock the door when using the toilet, or otherwise you might get a door slam on your knees. Actually there are strange holes and niches in different corners. Unexpectedly, the room also included a kitchenette with sink and 2 burners, and a washing/drying machine. I guess it´s intended for long stays.
The views are amazing. The rooms are modern and beautiful (except the USB cords are all torn up). So if you are on a business trip from the states you will have to watch your downlaoded or VPN based streaming on your phone. The staff is awesome. The hotel is a highrise but based on the number of rooms smaller than you would expect. (There are only 9 rooms per floor) The service and attentiveness is remarkable. Honestly, the only drawback is the breakfast food. But wven that was still good. I will definitely recommend you stay here. The location is near a large mall, banks, the tollway, and a ton of restaurants. The area is clean and safe.
First time using this hotel in Mexico City and I was very impressed. A 2 night visit for work, Covid measures mean no restaurant/ bar etc but the room service menu is comprehensive and accessed via a QR code on the tv screen. The hotel felt really safe and well in control regarding Covid. Everything in the room like towels etc was sealed in a bag. All staff were wearing masks with screens also at reception. There is an excellent view from the rooms on the front and there are several nice looking restaurants nearby so in different times I imagine it’s a great location. About 40 minutes from the airport. My Spanish is very poor but there is an excellent standard of English at reception etc. Friendly staff in all areas. Would recommend if staying in this area.
I had a great time at this hotel ,usually when people think of Mexico they think of the negative but this area is safer then most places in the United States lol high class neighborhood , great food ,big rooms with great beds and view .would definitely recommend
This hotel has one of the greatest views! (Of course ask for high level rooms) it has awesome beds and showers, this is my kind of hotel! Nice service and nice accomodations. For food, has several restaurants and bars near for your selection.
From the moment we entered we were greeted by a very professional staff, helpful with all we needed. The executive rooms are a design masterpiece, which we were delighted to spend time and just lounge. A breakfast buffet that included a bit of everything as you would expect from the Intercontinental Hotel. We defiantly look forward to returning this luxury Santa Fe hotel.
If you’re traveling with corporate credit card clearance the hotel “policy” requests the copy of the corporate credit card of both sides. In a country with so much risk of counterfeit and lack of respect of privacy providing the copy of a corporate credit card is like writing a blank check. Other IHG hotels don’t ask for the copy of your credit card so I see a lack of consistency in these policies among the IHG hotels. So I didn’t stay at the hotel and I’m expecting the no show charge so the non-sense of this is they charge the no show but they can’t allow me the stay because I don’t provide the copy of the credit card!?!?!?
Excellent hotel, one of the best views of Santa Fe, very friendly staff good customer service, modern rooms and two excellent restaurants inside the hotel, surrounded areas are very safe, shopping mall within walking distance Consider that Mexico City has a frightening traffic, Santa Fe area is about 25 kilometers from the airport, take enough time to return to the airport
This is an amazing hotel. Amazing amenities, gym and spa. Top restaurants inside the hotel are King fish, The palm, and a French restaurant. Rooms are super spacious and clean. Staff is very professional and helpful. Many great restaurants near by, like Carolo...I will greatly recommend this hotel for business and family.
