I have stayed at the Hotel Milan during every visit to Mexico City and always been pleased. It's all you need - basic, clean lodging in the best location in the city. A few things to note: emails to the Milan are pointless. If you want a reservation, you have to *call* them. And almost none of the staff speaks... More

This place has a perfect location, near the subway, restaurants, coffee shops, and hang outs. The staff in very attentive and nice. The room was big with a comfortable bed and bathroom. The wifi signal is very bad in the room and so is the soundproofing, a common flaw in mexican hotels. That said, I would come back and recommend... More

This hotel is located superbly for those interested in middle-class accomodations in a happening part of Mexico City--Colonia Roma. A room with two singles or a queen size bed is about $40 per night. If you want a great view of the boulevard with some accompanying noise ask for a room overlooking the fountains. Subway is just about four blocks... More

This is an excellent hotel for the money. That must be why it stays booked up. It's in a great location in a safe and trendy part of México City. It seems like there's a terrific restaurant or coffee house on every corner.

Living in Puebla, we often visit Mexico City. On the recommendation of a good friend, a well-known food blogger, we tried the Milan, and have returned a half-dozen times for long weekends. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Rooms are small, but very comfortable, and the prices are great. A small restaurant in the front of the hotel serves very good... More

Nothing fancy, but situated in a safe neighborhood right in the heart of colonia Roma near restaurants, book stores, bakeries, and shops. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. If you are driving to CDMX, the Milan even has a parking lot.

This hotel is reasonably priced for a property in the centre of Roma, a ritzy district in the city. For a double room, two people under 700 pesos a night. The TV does not have any English Speaking channels. There were only two plugs in the room for charging electronics. There is a safe in the room. It is a... More

We've stayed at Hotel Milan several times and have never left a review; it's our go-to place to stay in Mexico City because of it's perfect location on Obregon and it's really good price. Rooms aren't fancy and could be considered on the smaller side, but are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful yet unassuming, and on... More

Not here. As great a location, as clean and modern and as reasonably-priced as this hotel is, it still suffers from the same structural oversights that its neighbor (Four Points Sheraton) down the street does. After coming here many times we can still not find a room that does not have the continual noise from a vibrating exhaust fan from... More

Very well located hotel at the center of the Roma neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but a good place to rest in a secure and nice location. I hope the hotel maintains the rates as they are very affordable. It also has a parking lot which is very handy if you rent a car.

Staying in Roma

Neighborhood Profile
Roma
Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
