The location it's great, the staff friendly and the rooms small but comfortable, the food it's ok but near it there are plenty of options for much better food. Be careful if there are any protests or marchs around becouse they close many streets around

During à long stay in the country, around two months, we stayed various days in México and we recommand this hotel which is very close to the Palacio de Bellas Artes and not too far from the Zocalo which can be reached by foot through a pedestrian street. In the neighbourhood, you can find the Museo Diego Rivera, the Museo... More

The pluses: Excellent location, surprisingly quiet for downtown, rooms have bathtubs (!!!), staff very professional, if not particularly outgoing; spotlessly clean. Minuses: utterly charmless; cold, tired modern decor. Nothing about it says 'Mexico'. Rooms comfy, but drab. Wifi spotty. Elevators unreliable. Perfectly adequate for the price, and I have no serious complaints. But at the end of the day utterly... More

This extremely well-located hotel is in easy walking distance to the Zocalo to the east and the Plaza de la Revolucion to the west. And the Alameda park is no more than 300 meters away. It's very clean and modern with all the usual amenities as well as modest room rates. There are many dining options nearby as well as... More

A no nonsense mid-range hotel with a couple of surprises! Simple, clean, and easy access to everything in the center of Mexico City. The bathrooms are clean and we had a bathtub for the first time during our holiday. Rooms are simple, but nice and clean, WiFi is extremely reliable (I can't say that too often for ANY hotel), 9th... Affordable and central. With a great view from the rooftop plunge pool, quite centeal to some beautiful parts of Mexico City. Rooms are tidy and clean. We could walk to most places including the old post office, palace of the fine arts

Great Service, friendly staff. On my last three trips to México City I have stayed at Hotel Marlowe. It's located near some great sites. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. This makes meals convenient and quick if you are in a hurry. I will definitely book with them in future trips.

Arrived at the lobby with my reservation from booking.com printed and the first thing the receptionist says is that Booking.com hasn't sent them the reservation so I had to wait several minutes so they could figured out what was the problem, after it was fixed, they wanted to charged me 650 pesos more then the amount that was given to... Great location. Staff was excellent. Amazing room, for the price. Yes-would've loved a/c, but I wasn't in CDMX for the room. Just take a hot shower before bed and it doesn't feel so warm. Front desk was so helpful with tours & directions. Also loved the restaurant next door. Will stay here again

This hotel is in the best possible location in Mexico City. It's very safe and although the rooms are simple, the showers are great, there's free wifi which actually works and a small tv in every room. I was a woman traveling alone and felt safe here the whole time. The cost of this hotel was great. I got a... More

Staying in Alameda

Neighborhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
