We were very happy with the location of the hotel. Super Clean, comfortable beds. There was construction going on at the hotel which was very noisy, but when I spoke to the front desk about it we were immediately offered a different room. It was much quieter and we were very comfortable the rest of our trip. We ate breakfast... More

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Castropol in Mexico City from April 14 to 18, 2016. I booked directly with the hotel because of its reasonable price and decent Trip Advisor rating. It turned out to be an excellent choice! Located on Pino Suarez in Centro, it was just a short walk to the Plaza de la Constitiucion,... More

We were in Mexico City a week ago then travelled away for a week. I wish that we had booked this hotel for our previous time but better late than never. The room is clean, modern and has a room restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is still under renovations so during the day there is construction noise however... More

Me and my sister spent 7 nights here. Great room for the price you're paying. +Room service. +Clean. +There is no AC, but you can ask for a fan. +Great location! (About 10 minute walk to the Zocalo. On a busy street, easy for Uber drivers to find) +We got a remodeled room, I was happy with it. Only bad... More

Can't beat the location..you walk out the hotel tothe right and 10 mins you're at the Zocalo. The renovated rooms are nice, modern and clean. They give you 2 bottles of water which is great. Staff were friendly. It is a super noisy place though with the laminate floors and concrete walls I guess. The elevator can be heard rocking... More

Dear guest, we are very sorry for the inconvenience the renovations caused. For what is worth, in the floor you were staying we offer to change rooms to every room that was affected but in some cases we didn´t hear back from the guests, maybe this was your case. However we are very grateful for your stay and once again... More

We had a really lovely room here towards the back of the hotel, it was quite and the room was really modern with flat screen TV and nice bathroom. The beds were really comfortable and the room was cleaned everyday. The restaurant was fairly priced for breakfast and did great cafe con leche. Fairly central location, 10 minutes or so... More

Pros: excellent location Cons: washroom was like something you'd see at a public gas station, so rusty and unclean that for our one night stay I decided I'd rather not shower - if you're not picky about your washroom, the bedroom component was acceptable/cleaner
