I'm originally from Brazil but since I've been a flight attendant I have my share of knowing well about hotels and customer service around the world. I had to stay near the Airport for 5 nights and I couldn't be happier of my choice! The staff: driver, recepcionists, kitchen staff, cleaning staff: all of them! They were EXCELLENT! Always helping me with everything I needed and being patient with my Spanish, which isn't very good. The room is REALLY GOOD. Great space, equipments, lights, blackout curtains (the way flight attendants like it!). The bathroom is also AMAZING. If you ever come to Mexico City, look no further: this is the place to stay!
We stayed here for a few days during a trip to Mexico City. I called them and made arrangements for the shuttle service from the airport since I didn’t receive a reply to an email I had sent. The shuttle service was great for both the pickup and drop off. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant at the hotel which had good food and service. All of the staff were nice and I really appreciated them printing out my lab results for my flight home. There was shopping nearby that we could walk to, just had to be careful crossing the street because of the traffic.
My husband and I travel to Mexico quite often, we have stayed at this hotel 6 times over the past 2 years. Honestly, I love this hotel because of the airport shuttle, the neighborhood being right across from Walmart and so many food locations. We do a lot of shopping at The Central de Abastos and that is within 2 minutes of this hotel. The staff has always been great and helpful. Helping with suitcases, airport shuttles, meals, etc. The beds are comfortable and the noise level is practically none. We came in July, and we were told that the reservation only covered the 2 adults that were listed and somehow my kids were not on the reservation, we made the reservations beginning of July. For them to spend the night, Gustavo told me it was 500 MXN pesos to have them stay. Really? I have never had this before, but okay here's 500 pesos in cash. It was certainly weird, I have never heard of charging for kids. I went on the website that night and the price is exactly the same if I had 0 kids to 2 kids. But what was done was done. We went on our 3 week vacation to another part of Mexico and we had our return reservation for 2 days at the end. While on the vacation, I decided to add on one more day, on that reservation, even though it's the same price I had 2 adults 2 kids. We return and we get our room for our family of 4 with 2 towels, awesome. We were fine the first day checking in with a sweet girl, second day we get back and "Ring, Ring" it's Gustavo calling me in my room, saying I need to come downstairs to pay for my children immediately. He proceeds to show me the 2 reservations, and I now needed to pay 1000 MXN pesos for the 2 nights for my kids. You tell me, Thursday night with the 2 adults 2 kids is 659.22 pesos, now fri and sat is 1459 pesos and you still want another 1000 pesos!!! He was so strict on it and there was nothing I could do, I paid it on a credit card. Honestly, I felt as so strict as he was and after me, I honestly don't even know if this money is for the hotel or for him personally. There are so many hotels in Mexico City and to put up with this abuse, no thanks, I'll take my family and money elsewhere. I'm sorry to the rest of the employees who have been outstanding over the past 2 years. My drivers to go back to the airport were super awesome! Gustavo and his his extra 1500 MXN pesos charging for kids, they're not even adults, that is enough for me!…
I had a booking and arrived tired after a long travel day, just to find out that they were overbooked and did not gave me the room or any option. The girl at the front desk did not care much about the issue. It was frustrating because the room was fully paid
Customer service was great and the bed was so comfortable, would come back without a doubt. It was pretty centralized and we had a v.i.p.s. restaurant across the street. Even though it was on a very busy street their was no noise at all
