This hotel is first class. Excellent location near Chapultapec Castle, parks, and the upscale Polaco area. This is one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. In many Mexican hotels, you find something wrong, can't find any pens, or something doesn't work. Everything was flawless in this room. Not only was it nice, it had a gigantic TV, and extras in the bathroom like a razor and toothbrush. We had just come from a high end hotel in Dallas where you needed to buy that kind of stuff from a vending machine. There were also always plenty of water bottles. The lobby staff knew my name. We forgot to lock the safe once and had no problems. Staff was very attentive. In the restaurant, they must have refilled our coffees six times.

Hotel's Favorite
I have visited Mexico city more times, but since I have tried Grand Fiesta America there is no other place to stay especially if you need to be near a Polanco area, where I had some business meetings. Hotel is quite modern equipped. Some of big Hotel chains in Mexico city had some 90s look, which is not the case of Grand Fiesta Americana. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff really friendly and flexible. I have been there more than one time and to my surprise some of the staff on the 16th floor recognize me and get me quite warm welcome. Some of the staff works there for more years which means that the management treat them well which is a good sign. I will be definitely be back in near future.

Terrible experience and customer service !! I scheduled in advance a transfer from the airport and they forgot to pick me up. Was roaming around the airport looking for someone and ended up by getting a Uber. Totally disrespectful. At the hotel the manager informed to go the top floor for the breakfast and after seating the employee came and kicked me out saying that I didnt pay for that I couldn’t eat there as prepaid breakfast would be downstairs! Rude staff and unexpected service! Not recommended !

The staff here went above and beyond to ensure my stay was excellent. If I needed anything, they were right there with it. Front desk staff, valet, and concierge were absolutely amazing!! The spa was a fantastic experience. Had a minor miscommunication, and the spa staff handled it with amazing customer service. I highly recommend taking advantage of the spa here, which I did on 2 different days. Wonderful staff led to a wonderful vacation!

We wanted to stay walking distance to Chapultepec Park for a couple of days, and we also wanted to have a quiet night of sleep. We were so happy with our stay at this hotel. First, the room was very spacious, the interior decor was elevated, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was very quiet. We booked a room with a view of Chapultepec castle, and it was lovely in the day, and at night as well. We had access to the lounge on the 16th floor and the snacks and food there was good. They had lots of wall to wall window giving cool views during the day, but at night, the view of city lights was breathtaking. I thought the staff was extremely accomodating, taking our luggage early and agreeing to hold it for us after we checked out for a couple of additional hours. We really loved our stay here and will stay here again anytime we need to be in this area of town.

Location is ok. I thought this was more of a luxury hotel, but was unimpressed. Similar price point hotels in Polanco were more much more beautiful. Felt completely nickel-and-dimed, and they charged $5 for each nespresso pod. Go somewhere else.

The location is great and everyone was nice and attentive. I ordered room service and the food was perfect. Only thing I'd mention is the discharge sound, which is a bit louder than expected. The toiletries are great and shower also pretty good. I recommend staying there!

My stay at the Grand Fiesta was great. The room is big and spacious. The view of the Chapultepec Castle is so beautiful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have tasted. We also used the hotel to host a conference and the lunch served was amazing.

Great location in Mexico City... not too far from the airport, right across from Chipultec park. The rooms were clean... the linens crisp... qualitiy pillows, linens and towels. The shower was spacious with great water pressure. The staff is attentive... but, for me... the best part... was the breakfast that comes with the room. I simply did the cold buffet... which was filled with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses and vegetables. It was amazing. And, if you didn't find that to be enough... you could always order something, MTO. And with all of that, its about 1/2 of what'd I expect to pay for the same in the US.

The good - Nice size room, comfortable bed, updated furnishings - Walk right into Chapultepec park - Close ride to Polanco, Roma, Condesa The bad - we opted for a room with a view of the park; big mistake for 2 reasons. The windows on the 5th floor are filthy compromising the view and this side of the building looks out onto a busy street with horn blowing traffic. Recommendation, get a cheaper priced room and enjoy the view from the 16th floor gym which had clean windows. The bad - this hotel is not cheap or bargain priced. They only give you one nepresso pod for 2 people in the room. If you want more, you have to pay. This is stingy and being nickeled and dimed. Not happy. Beyond their control: no immediate grocery store in the area; but lots of little restaurants/oxxo/7eleven. The beautiful athletic center across the street is not available for visitors to use; it is a private facility.
