I've stayed at Casa de la Condesa quite a few times (solo) and recently made a reservation for an August date through Expedia. Days later I received a notice that a group was extending their stay and I would be moved to a sister hotel in Polanco. My friends and business are in Roma and a stay in Polanco would... More

There really isn't a more perfect location in Mexico City than where this hotel is in Roma. The plaza outside is so pleasant and is loaded on all sides with great restaurants. The hotel is air conditioned (in May and possibly thru summer. This is really RARE. Everything is clean and functional and the staff is really great, but the... More

So happy I found this Casa de la Condesa, definitely the greatest spot with cute cafes and restaurants close by. The hotel provides the best service, really nice rooms and of course also really good food! I'm totally coming back to Casa De La Condesa on my next visit!

When I checked out, I paid in cash. This hotel, however, after I left, charged the credit card I had on file and continues to tell card services that I never paid. SOBs. Keep your receipts for this place (though I will never return).

This boutique hotel is at a walking distance from Turibus and tram. It is located in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood with cosy restaurants nearby. Shopping area in Zona Rosa is also near. So that, it is perfecto to explore the town. Since I travelled alone, I got a double room single use in the worst area of the... More

Excellent facilities for the price - wifi good, beds are beds when you go to hotels but a little hard, they do lot speak a great deal of English but the area is excellent and full of students who speak Inglis. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good easy to find place in Mexico

We spent a total of 3 nights here in conjunction with a G Adventures tour. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a double bed, sofa, fridge, safe, coffee pot and dinette table. It had a very small balcony and faced a small park. There was adequate free wifi and a very simple continental breakfast was included. The... More

Staying in Roma

Neighborhood Profile
Roma
Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
