I switched rooms because the first room smelled so bad. like a very wet Labrador retriever. the second room was an upgrade and - The internet does not work - it is raining and no food in the room or anywhere near by -the location is not convenient and no where to walk to - the staff during the day was a bit rude : I told him about the smell and he never apologized and never acknowledged only offered me another room. -The room is super cold when it rains and there is no way to heat it up - basically you are in a cold jail cell - you can hear EVERYTHING in the room next door the only good thing is the guy who works at night he is nice and very helpful
Villa Condesa was my choice in Mexico City after my other hotel closed for renovations. what a find!! it has 14 or 15 rooms, 2 patios, one inside and one outside, and a gourmet breakfast. add very friendly and helpful staff as well a s a perfect location, one and a half blocks away from Parque Espana. and about 4 blocks from the entertainment area of Condesa. Perfect!!! for me the Condesa is the best place to stay in CDMX, it has trees and parks for beauty and cuts the pollution out. it is safe at night after a day in the city, with a ton of bars, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. it is also close to Chapultepec Park and the Reforma, plus the hip Roma Del Norte is right there!! they have a gate you enter and you are delivered into a winner!!
Staying at the Villa Condesa felt like coming home after a long day. The hotel is on a quiet residential street so it is a welcome oasis after a day of site seeing. The breakfast each morning was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for a comfortable casual experience look no farther.
As travel agent I referred Villa Condesa to several clients all of whom fell in love. When I found I had one night in Mexico City on the return from Southern Mexico back to the states I connected with Homero to see if it would be worth the taxi ride. He encouraged our party of 3 couples to spend the night. We found a bit of paradise in a big city. We felt so comfortable and at home in their exquisitely, appointed Villa. The staff was very knowledgeable, English was spoken, breakfast was amazing. Homero assisted us with dinner reservations and directed us to Chapultepec park for a morning walk prior to heading to the airport. No detail was missed. Exceptional value.
I spent 2 wonderful weeks at Villa Condesa, during the pandemics, and will forever remember this exceptional opportunity. As a frequent traveller, for many years and many countries around the globe, I pay attention to detail: Villa Condesa offers the best. Special kudos to a wonderful, dedicated and discreet staff: Vicki, David and Marta, always ready to help, to go the extra mile. Owners Homero and Daisy are a stunning couple, their worldly experience and good taste make Villa Condesa so special. Highly recommend To all, many thanks for your outstanding hospitality and care. In these turbulent times, you really made me feel good - always.
