Starting with the welcome and the help from Brenda and Charlie from the front desk this stay has been wonderful. I am in the middle of my stay but wanted to write the review while things are fresh in my mind. This hotel is beautiful, the views, the restaurant, the suite I am in 306 are all terrific. I’ve been to Mexico City many times and have always stayed in either reforma or Polanco but highly recommend the Santa Fe area and in particular the Westin. The club lounge is closed but since I am titanium elite they gave me free heavy appetizers and a wonderful breakfast in their beautiful restaurant. I will stay here again without reservation and encourage anyone else to stay here as well. Great property, great customer service.
Excellent hotel to stay in Mexico City. Very well located for our tours around the city. It is also possible to walk to other hotels in the area. Next to the hotel great options for restaurants. And very close by there is a very good shopping center. Very attentive staff. Comfort room. Hotel respecting all covid protocols.
We had to be in CDMX for a week - during that entire time, the staff was super attentive as well as being fastidious about hygiene. It seemed we were only one of about five groups of people in the hotel at the time, but the concierge literally treated us like we were the only ones there. Our room was spacious and beautiful and was a great bargain as comparable rooms in a US city would be 3-4x the price. Will definitely stay again should we need to return to Mexico City.
I visited for a work event. The hotel was really good and the meeting rooms were also really good. If you join the Marriott Bonvoy program you get complimentary Wi-fi and water in your bedroom The hotel is very clean and the staff of very helpful Breakfast has a lot of variety of food and the quality of the food is good
If you are planning to have business meetings in th Santa Fe area in Mexico City you have to stay at this hotel. The personnel makes you feel at home, the rooms are beautiful and modern, clean and the hotel is surrounded by many great restaurants.
I had a short stay in The Westin Santa Fe during beginning of February 2020. The hotel and rooms I used were very clean and the staff were mostly very helpful and courteous (with the exception of one of the Concierges who was borderline rude every time I spoken with him about anything - it was like it was too much effort for him to listen to me). Food was excellent in the Market Place Restaurant and the morning buffet breakfast had plenty of selection to choose from. I would recommend both. Good gym facilities with lots of equipment which was completely empty each time I went to visit. Some negatives were: Do not pay for the upgrade to a premium room/services - this is not worth the money and it is cheaper to buy/add breakfast on your room account. Pool is a plunge pool so don't expect to be swimming any lengths. Finally, make sure that you check your bill very, very carefully. The hotel tried to over charge me nearly 6,500 Mexican Peso (circa £270) for items that I did not have - including 2 sets of laundry plus other items. When I questioned the charges they were removed instantly and without any issues but it really annoys me that some hotels do this regularly as a money making exercise for non native visitors in the hope that they don't notice. I have given The Westin 4 stars because overall the hotel is worth 4 stars but do, as I recommend, double check your bill very carefully to make sure extras have not been added that are not yours.…
New business hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. The hotel sits amidst an office complex, so don’t expect any nightlife. However, the staff and service are great. The hotel restaurant is quite good, and the hotel has a member lounge on the top floor that serves breakfast (thought there are more choices if you take breakfast in the restaurant). I would not stay here as a tourist, because it is far from the main attractions.
The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very pleasant. You got what you paid for, the location is great, you have Samara Shops just in front, and a few great restaurants under the hotel. I recommend you "Jin San"
I was disappointed by this stay at the Westin Santa Fe. The hotel was empty, I have a Platinum Marriott level and I paid 60-70$ for a premium suite and got the smallest type of room on the floor plan even though I made my request for a large room quite clear at check-in. The room I had was nice but was around 300 sq ft. I strongly recommend not to book any room at a higher price then the standard price. I filed a complain with Marriott and a long time later I heard back from Eduardo Vallin at the Front Desk who insists that I was assigned the correct room and stopped communication afterwards although it might take another 2 weeks to get back at me.
We loved this hotel. It is quiet, and has great amenities. We ate in the restaurant which turns out to not be part of the hotel and had s few problems there. Mainly noise and the temperature. We also had massages and were disappointed. Are room was very comfortable and had a lot of storage for clothing etc. The staff are super friendly
