This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were very nice and all spoke great English. The rooms were large and spacious and all recently renovated. My advice is that you request a room that is not overlooking the Auditorio Nacional. I had a room right over it and they had a concert, which meant I woke up to sound checks at 6 am and then had to deal with concert noise through midnight. Not the hotel's fault, but I recommend sleeping on the opposite side of the hotel.
Unbeatable location and great property! Walking distance of restaurants, bars, the shopping mall (palacio de hierro) and “Polanquito”. I stayed at a Master suite which has an incredible view of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent experience.
Stayed here for 5 nights and it was perfect. The location is great to start with. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. The staff is A-1 perfect. This hotel knows service and provided in every aspect. We got an amazing upgraded room and a wonderful view. The room was large and the bathroom well appointed and huge. We had a fabulous and generous buffet breakfast in the restaurant each morning and again - fabulous staff and delicious food. This hotel currently does not have a concierge lounge open, but they make up for it with a small lounge near the restaurant that has whatever you need. Beautiful and comfortable lobby area and bar too. All the staff from the bell boys, house keepers, concierge, bar tender, front desk are super nice helpful and bilingual. I can't stress how comfortable and nice this experience was overall a perfect 10! We hit Mexico City and had 5 days of rain, but I did check out the gym and pool areas and they are spectacular as well. In room coffee is nice, along with plenty of bottled water and a full mini-bar.…
Great location in Polanco. You can walk to restaurants in nice area within 10 min walk. The hotel has every amenity you could possibly want. Rooms have recently been renovated. The pool has spectacular views of the city. Sofia at the front desk was really nice about helping with me a early check in.
Amazing looking hotel with amazing staff to ensure i had a great stay. Thank you so much to Ms Gabriela for helping me with lots of uncommon requests. Your helpfulness really help me a lot for this stay. Also thank you to Janet from the Gym, your friendliness really brighten up my day, ur information was very helpful Lounge was close during this stay but JW MEX has prepared for me wonderful food to enjoy in their restaurant Xanat, which was beyond delicious. Wonderful stay. I WILL BE BACK! :)
This is one of the best JW Marriott in the world. The location is perfect. Walking distance from the best restaurants in town, museums, parks, transportation. Easy access from the airport The hotel installations are absolutely gorgeous. The room are very spacious, natural lighting, great decoration and wonderful city views But the best feature of this hotel is the staff. Everyone from the bell boys, house keepers, concierge, bar tender, front desk are super nice helpful and bilingual
I was really impressed with the service at this hotel. Every time I requested anything, someone showed up at my door within minutes with a smile. The staff was super helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the decor and the pool and the location in Polanco is excellent!
We stayed there for 2 nights / 3 days and there were only 2 elevators working , they weren’t able to fix the elevators for 3 days we were there. We waited a lot to go up and down. The hotel has a great location in the Polanco area , walking distance from nice restaurants and the park. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel for me. The breakfast was ok. The Xanat restaurant has delicious foods.
We spent two weeks in this hotel and it was marvelous. The location is great as Polanco is the fanciest neighborhood in Mexico city and from here you can walk around and find beautiful shops and very nice restaurants. Our room was one of the recently refurbished and it was beautiful with an awesome view of Campo Marte and Paseo Reforma. But the very best is the staff, I could name some of them here: first of all, Diana (our housekeeper) who noticed that I was buying fresh flowers to decorate the room and for the second week she and her team decided to send us an incredible bouquet. Isabel, Reina, Aracelis, Juan and Leonel from the entrance, Erika, Tamara and Andrea from the reception and Javier as concierge. They all were really helpful and attentive during our stay that we are already looking forward to be back. Three things to improve 1. Only 2 out of 4 elevators were working and sometimes it was time consuming to wait for them 2. The hotel doesn't have espresso cups, not even in the lobby or rooms 3. There aren't garbage bins anywhere in the lobby. It was hard to find where to discard something…
I love the Polanco area where this hotel is. Very safe and so many restaurants to choose from. The hotel is lovely and calming. The pool area is beautiful and has a lovely view fo the park. Rooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. The staff at the front desk and servers at the lobby bar are always very friendly. This was my 5th time to this hotel and it is always my first choice when I am in Mexico City.
