My husband and I just returned from Mexico City, where we stayed at the Zocalo Central for 7 nights. We were warmly greeted and check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was cozy, with the space well laid out. There is no separate dresser for clothing, but there are shelves in the closet and also plenty of hangers. The room...

I was very impressed with the hotel. The staff there were the best. It is 20 steps away from the Zocalo. The good news it was very close , but if there is an event it could get noisy. I was there visiting DF with a friend and he and I had separate rooms and the rooms were small BUT...

The Zocalo Central Hotel is half a block from the Zocalo--which is the largest public square in North America. There is a Metro stop (Zocalo) on the Blue Line (I think it's line #2) a block away from the hotel. On the square are the Palacio National with murals by Diego Rivera (it's closed to the public a few days...

The great location in the Historic-District and just across the Cathedral is just fantastic. You have the best view from the breakfast-terrace to the Zocalo, Cathedral and Palazzos, although it's quite a 'fight' with the waiters to get a table with view. The service in the hotel is nice, although we got a very tiny room of 12m2 with a...

This is a very nice hotel in a safe area - rooms are clean and nice bed is comfortable but not huge. Bathroom is good size as well. On the 6th floor is the restaurant with an excellent view of the square and very good food and cocktails. Will come back again.

Zocalo Central could not be more ideally located in the historic center of CDMX. You're steps from the Zocalo, the Palacio Nacional, and Catedral Metropolitana. Avenida Cinco de Mayo has a ton of food options close-by (try Jugos Canada, Tacos Aranda, el Cuatro Veinte, Dulcería de Celaya). The staff are incredibly friendly and available to answer any questions or schedule...
