This is a five star hotel without a doubt. I really can't thunk of a single negative thing to say, other than the breakfadt buffet being small and not amazing. But the roims and service are definitely perfect.

Dear Jon, It is a real honor to read you consider us a five star hotel and that you were especially satisfied with the treatment received and the rooms. Due to the current situation, we were forced to reduce our gastronomic offer, but we hope that, when the times allow it, we will be able to surprise you with an extensive menu in future visits. It will be a pleasure to serve you again. Best regards, Luis González

We usually stay at the Gran Hotel....and will continue to do so in the future....but they had a special event on the day that we were arriving so we had to look elsewhere. We decided to give Zocalo Central a try......lucky for us we only booked one night and walked down to the Gran Hotel for the rest of our stay... The good: The staff was great, the coffee bar in the lobby was great, the room was clean, and the view was nice (not as good as the Gran), the room was quiet enough....etc. The bad: I am no prude....really.....The shower is roomy enough for 2, and the door is clear...no problem... BUT...the toilet is in a separate little room with a clear glass door.....I don't mind watching my girlfriend taking a shower...or her watching me... BUT, I really have no desire to see her dropping a deuce....or her watching me pitch a loaf! I really cannot fathom who had the bright idea of setting the toilet in an area that is on display for everyone. So do yourselves a favor and get a suite at the Gran with a view of the Zocalo!

Amazing and awesome experience, the highest quality service in comparison to high end hotels in Vegas, Arizona, Texas and Mexico City. The Zocalo Central Hotel is the greatest with in all the hotels I stayed lately, the location close to the most touristic spots in Mexico City. The incredible and high energy of all the employees, the features included In the prices are unique. My special thanks to the Manager; Luis, to our host; Raul; and our Culinary Artist, our magnificent Cheff; Pepe Salinas. Zocalo Central Hotel today’s day has the highest value for your money in top of the greatest healthy condition, in addition to the quality, and excellent service.

Found this amazing hotel and saw that it was right infront of the zocalo. The price was perfect for all that it came with. The front desk people, especially luis were extremely helpful and welcoming. To our surprise our booking included free food at the cafe area which was a huge plus, they had a wide variety of snacks and quick lunches. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. This hotel has a rooftop eating area with a view right to the zocalo. My siblings and I enjoyed free breakfast as well as a couple of bar nights (alcohol drinks are not free) up there and its a must! The area is EXTREMELY safe and its only minutes away from shopping stores as well as street food and street events. I definitely recommend this hotel and i will be looking forward to coming back here once again. 5/5
