This property is absolutely awful, I have been trying to get in contact with the hotel for over a month now, they double-charged me and every time I try to contact them they transfer me to guest relations who then can't even get in touch with the hotel. There seems to be absolutely no management that will handle any issues they have. Whenever guest relations calls no management is present. They have no email to contact them either, overall this is an absolutely awful property with terrible customer service.
Zona Rosa is a great place where you can walk around. The hotel itself is in a quiet street. The rooms are big and modern. Had breakfast once (which is a bit pricy). Staff is friendly and there is always someone to help you get your stuff up the stairs to the reception.
Stayed here during the Easter Weekend for 5 evenings. The reason we chose this hotel was for its location which is excellent and I am an IHG member. Front desk as the weakest link at this hotel. Upon check-in, we were given the incorrect room type. When arriving at 2am, the last thing we wanted to do is head back downstairs to change rooms. While the staff at this property (especially the restaurant were great), front desk disappointed consistently with little requests (chairs for our balcony, extra towels, etc). If management could fix the minor front desk issues, this hotel would be a true gem and I would have bumped my rating. Room was great, clean, and everything functioned as it should. The bed was very comfortable and there was little to no noise transfer from the hallways. Would I stay here again? Absolutely as the location was excellent.…
Considering it's in the heart of the city and near many attractions,it is located on a quiet street! Imagine that,in Mexico City! Even during the evening, quiet. For those who are challenged by steps, there are approximately 20 steps from street level to the front desk. I was greeted warmly by the 2 agents there and they recognized my status with IHG. Even if I did not have status there, I feel the greeting would still have been genuine. Every person I came in contact with was warm and cordial, whether it was the bellman, whose English was excellent,to the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant-all top notch. The suite I had was spacious and well laid out. It included 2 sofas,an L-shaped desk with a great desk lamp,a coffee table and an individual chair. The balcony size was adequate. The room safe was standard fare-a nice touch. The shower and toilet were separate from the bathroom sink and both were well-lighted. No wait for plenty of hot water. I would say this property is verging on boutique style-given the size and amenities. There are plenty of places to eat a meal from dawn to midnight within short walking distance.2 convenience stores within a block. A microwave and coffee maker were in the suite also. There is a taxi at the entrance 24 hours a day. All in all,a propoerty I look forward to visiting again. Job well done.…
My husband and I stayed her for a week at the end of February. It’s a great property - a bit older, but in great shape, and really charming compared to the some of the more sanitized and modern properties. The location is fantastic...close to the metro, Reforma, etc. Great little bars and restaurants all around. I thought the service was excellent, and everybody was very kind and helpful. Ask for Carlos - he’s got the van out front, and has lived in Mexico City for years so is a great guide for a reasonable price.
