Booked via booking.com for 35$C a night..great deal. Hotel is fairly new, bland looking lobby with high security glass separating client from clerks. Room was farily clean with king , lcd tv with mainly spanish channels, clean bathroom with separate loo and shower. However, the remote control is screwed to the wall close to the bed, so ackward to change channels. No gym or pool. Breakfast is included, very simple offerings. Food at restaurants is decent and inexpensive.Had a club sandwich for about 5$. Area did not feel unsafe, but there are streetwalker closeby...just ignore them. Plenty of food options nearby.
This Hotel is one of my favorites. It might not be the luxury hotel, but is quite well located, might be for expats not be the best or first option, but for me as local, is fine, good roooms, clean, not expensive at all. good internet. The only issue I would say but that still I understand, is that the reception looks more like for motel or a bank, as the clerk is behind a thick glass. and they are not so friendly, not know what type of customers they may get, but definitely when Im going is for rest and keep my stuff. Better ask Uber or a safe taxy, do not go around for a walk, better be in the safe area. Definitely will recommend
This was a nice hotel, the rooms we're clean and large! Price was cheap for how good the rooms were, the restaurant has good food also a reasonable price, staff were helpful and friendly but the down side to this hotel is its in a not so nice area of town and there are prostitutes on the street that use this hotel to do there "business" we could hear it happening all hours of the night from our room, although it's a bad area it's only a short taxi ride to the main historic centre and super easy to get a taxi! Also the staff speak NO English at all so if you don't know any Spanish it's almost impossible to communicate
It´s a very good hotel. Cheap, clean and close to down town. The food it´s not the best..... but it´s ok. Parking lot The zone where is located it´s not pretty. No deposit, no ID, no registration of their stay. The metro station San Antonio is a couple of blocks away, and the Zona Rosa is only a 30-50 peso taxi ride away
While I was checking in with the receptionist behind the bulletproof glass, at least 5 different couples walked in, handed the receptionist a wad of cash and were given room keys. No deposit, no ID, no registration of their stay. This should have been my first red flag but we were exhausted and had already handed over our wad of cash for the two nights. First room had been used and not cleaned (dirty towel on floor, urine in toilet, lipstick stains on pillow). Second room smelled like BO and stale cigarettes. Third room was next to another room that was turning guests every few hours. The giggling, headboard thumping and grunting lasted all night. No closet, toilet was behind glass screen, shower stall open to room, only 1 towel for 2 guests. Neighborhood is super sketchy. This was my 6th visit to Mexico City and I've never seen so many prostitutes and drug busts. Our first night we opened our window to see 7 police cars surround a black SUV, pull out several duffel bags of a white substance, and arrest 3 very angry men. Worst yet - we were very suspicious of dark frosted glass mirrors facing bed and shower. On our last day here, we bought a flashlight and pointed it into the mirror only to see what looked like recording devices. This hotel needs to be removed from this site immediately. I have already contacted local authorities, but highly doubt there will be any follow up (we saw enough cops visiting the young women outside).…
