I visited Mexico D.F. for 5 days and 4 of those nights I stayed at the Hilton hotel. The location of the hotel is great. From the Hotel we were able to walk to many tourist locations. One night we had tickets to a show at the Palacio de Bellas Artes that is across the street a nice stroll down... More

I did not stay at this property but was treated to a great meal on the first floor restaurant, Los Dones. I had one of the best Grilled Mahi-Mahi fillets that I have ever had. The sauce was spicy and typical Mexican, simply made the meal. For appetizer, the soup of day, a Tortilla soup was outstanding with unique flavors,... More

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The location is excellent, walking distance to quite a few of the city's landmarks. The hotel is modern and grand, our room was on level 26 a Club Suite, it was spacious with amazing views across the city. Housekeeping were excellent and the room service very good, we ordered a... I got back from my business meetings at 9pm and sat in the bar to check my emails. I declined to order a drink from the barmaid when I sat down and within 5 minutes was asked to leave unless I ordered a drink by the manager 'Antonio'. I told reception I'd been asked to leave the bar as I... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here. We absolutely loved it. We have gold with Hilton and were upgraded to a suite on the 26th floor and had access to the executive lounge. I always enjoy staying at this Hilton. The location is terrific, very easy walking distance to major museums and sites. The restaurant, el Cardenal, is just plain very good. For traditional Mexican food, a traveler could do no better than this!

It's everything you would expect from a Hilton, except it seemed to lack a bit of spark, which meant my stay was a bit lifeless. Staff are over-attentive and room service menu was unexciting - the chicken tacos in particular were tasteless, over cooked and greasy!

This hotel has GREAT weekend rates. We were stranded in Mexico City last weekend and this place was a great relief. The hotel was perfect and the area around nice and safe. Even though you might have no time to relax because of business, you can run at the park or take a stroll at night on Reforma Avenue. Great ++++

Staying in Alameda

Neighborhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
