My husband and I stayed here for our first time in Mexico City for 2 nights. Great location, lots to see and do around the area and plenty of restaurants. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly. I enjoyed all the art and historical antiques in the hotel lobby. It felt very magical and... More

What a little jewel. I have visited DF many times, and will now only stay at this hotel. It is located in a fun area that I feel very safe in and has a lot of restaurants, bars, even a Starbucks just a block away. When you enter, it is like stepping back in time. You can almost imagine what... More

I really enjoyed this hotel The room it's small for my taste but you really don't need to be in the room having Zona rosa there. So fun and now safe neighborhood since you will find police in every corner. Huge hotel with a great history

This hotel has the potential of providing quite a posh stay for you in Mexico City. The hotel is located in a trendy Zona Rosa. It is not your 5th Ave, but the area generally reminds me of Soho. It is quite walkable and has plenty of good eateries. The guest rooms at Geneve are spacious and reminiscent in style... More

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 4- day stay at Hotel Geneve. It is a lovingly restored historic property. The scale is not grand, but the style and service certainly are. We needed two rooms, one with a king bed and one with two beds for our teenage kids. Hotel Geneve could accommodate this with rooms right across the... More

As a child in the mid-60's, I lived in this hotel for several months when my family relocated to Mexico City. It was magical. The staff let us have the run of the hotel, and the waiters would make a huge deal out of it when my parents sent us down to eat in the restaurant on our own every... More

Enjoyed the whole historic hotel ambiance. We are already planning a second trip and will stay there again. We've decided to upgrade to a junior suite as they are much larger and nicer. It's very convenient having the Sanborn's restaurant as well as the Patio restaurant in the hotel.

I did not stay in this hotel but the very friendly staff at the front desk and bell boy showed me one room and guided us to a brief round.
