The room I had to stay for two nights was smelling very bad - like the whole floor of the hotel. The service at the Check-In is very bad, long waiting cues, unefficent staff and - in my case not any help to find another room after Lufthansa cancelled my flight. This is not the service and sourrounding that you...

Stayed at the Camino Real during easter break. Average place if you need a decent and safe place where to sleep. Room was ok, bed was ok, but hey, how much would they spend by leaving at least 1 complimentary water of water in it? Room was somehow smelly as washroom does not have proper ventilation....just an average place to...

The resin why I was stuck in the Hotel is unneeded. However, I must say that even though I was far from my loved ones I enjoyed myself very much! A great help from everyone and the food is absolutely amazing! Had a great time!

I've stayed at the Camino Real in Mexico City numerous times but think its time I found. New hotel in Mexico City. Great location but the rooms are really getting old and tired. Fitness centre has new treadmills and the hotel has numerous restaurants, a bar and also a coffee shop which is all good. Considering I've stayed there more...

You can't beat the location, the security of being in a low rise, massive structure that has proven to be a bunker in the event of earthquakes, nice gardens, good restaurants all in the beautiful Chapultepec area. Do not mis it !

It is a solid 3 star hotel. I stayed there for a few nights back in November and it was just ok. There are a few highlights: the location, the service, and the restaurants. The location is good, some places are walking distance, but for other things, you might need a cab. I notice there is a turibus (tour bus)...

This is a perfect Hotel if you are flying in or out of Mexico for bussines. Situated next to the airport and accesable direct from the airport. Room, bathroom, breakfast and dinner possibilities are perfect.

Over the last six months, I have now been forced to stay 2 times at this hotel. Even though the staff is nice and the food is good, the rooms are very old and so are their mattresses (see pictures below). During my first stay my mattress was so worn on one side (the phone and alarm clock side), that...

It was my first time in this hotel, located in Polanco district, near all of the tourist and shopping attractions of Mexico City. Driving in, I was disappointed by the unfortunate look of this orange and yellow building with no architectural details worth mentioning. However, when I walked in, I was amazed by the splendor of the modern interior. The...

The only good thing about this Hotel are The Architecture, the Tamayo Paint on the wall and the two Signature Restaurants like, Morimoto and Beef Bar which are a chain. The other restaurants are crappy Rooms are Dirty, stinky, the staff it is the worst ever. This is not a Five stars Hotel, it is a big Fiasco.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
