I stayed at the Camino Real with two friends for two nights in February 2017. I have been a guest here many times before, and as usual we all felt the public spaces are the best part of the hotel. The pool and central garden are a quiet oasis in the middle of Mexico City, although the pool is largely...

I visited this nice hotel for business reason .located close to some of the amazing hotspot of this city ( Chapultepec castle and anthropological museum) it offers wide clean room ( furniture a little bit demodee), small gym and a great breakfast buffet . Only noticed that room was not prepared again until first afternoon but this Is really a...

if you are looking for very good (and priced at the upper US/EU price, but in Mexico, go there). The rooms are HUGE and the beds comfy but this is way too expensive for Mexico city. Positive: location, swimming pool, great restaurants, and near affordable food options, overall staff attitude. Negative: price. INTERNET IS NOT INCLUDED???? SERIOUSLY? I had issues...

Very expensive for what you get. Booked year in advance for a king bed and a suite. Got a queen bed in a small room. Room obviously not upgraded for years. Towels and sheets rough and old. Staff not friendly. Food lukewarm.

The hotel is very expensive and old. After dinner we wanted to have a drink and was surprised to see there was a group of escorts. The group I travelled with had some girls and even with that, the escorts approached some of the guys in the group. The hotel is supposed a place you can be with friends and...

We LOVED our stay! My friend and I spent four nights here, and we couldn't have been happier. The location was central to everywhere we visited, walking distance to the park and many restaurants (though Uber is so cheap, proximity is more about saving time than saving money). The staff was always friendly and helpful, whether we were changing money,...

As with many hotels in Mexico City this one is a big one. What good about it, if you too tired to deal with the traffic you can just stay in the evening and hop from a bar area to 4-5 restaurants of your choice. Bice is no longer there, but there is still plenty to pick from.

Stayed here three nights together, then one night before returning home. The first room was very nice -close to the elevator, quiet. Nice hot water, great shower. Had the pleasure of watching American Football playoffs with Mexican-speaking commentators (and Mexican subtitles).. I tried to sign on for internet connection the first day, the second morning, and the second afternoon. FINALLY...

The decor and art work is unbelievable. There is a Blue Bar in the lobby which is situated on top of a shallow pool with rocks on the bottom of the pool. You walk over a bridge to get to the pool. Should not have too much to drink or you would get dizzy walking over the water.

I stayed here for a business trip. The location is good, the rooms are comfortable and the staff was friendly. For my next trip, I will come back. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
