From the moment I arrived onto the property until I departed everything was amazing. Service was quick and efficient. The concierge was very helpful and all his recommendations were outstanding. Location was great for Museums and Castle tours.

I stayed just one night on a business trip to Mexico City. I was impressed with the staff who were very customer oriented. If I took a wrong turn on the way to the restaurant the nearest staff member was always courteous to show me the right way. The interior struck me as dated but well maintained. The steak restaurant... More

Was here on business in September, 2016 for 4 days. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and you are felt as though they really appreciate you being there. The food at the restaurants was wonderful. Never a bad meal. The place is however the largest hotel with many twists and turns. It is easy to get lost in it all,... More

I was serveral times in this hotel over the last 20 years. I always gave it aanother chance, This time I was again disappointed. The rooms are not state of the art anymore and my room was facing the street and therefore very loud, I couldn´t sleep at nigth. A/C was not correctly working and also quite noisy. The Mexican... After a summer in a Mexico City apartment, my husband and I stayed at the Camino Real for one night before our flight out the following morning. We choose the Polanco Camino Real, rather than the one by the airport, because it’s in a safe neighborhood and they offer good rates. The property the Camino Real is built on is... More

For six weeks in May and June 2016, I went 3 to 4 times per week to La Huerta Cafe at the Camino Real Hotel for a late light dinner, more often a soup or a salad. I went with my family and is awful. Beds are thin and you can't sleep with your wife. The other rooms don't have the possibility to acommodate 3. Food expensive and service is poor, lack of maintenance and front of house advisors are rude

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
