I recently stayed at the Camino Real. I have stayed at the Four Seasons and this hotel when I have traveled to Mexico City. While, the Four Seasons is deemed a luxury property I prefer this hotel. The location is good and there are a number of restaurants at the location, a small gym and pool. The room have over...

Stayed here while visiting the local office. Staff are great and very willing to help. Great gym, eight restaurants, outdoor pool. No problems finding a quiet spot to work or have a conversation. Located across the street from numerous attractions.

It is a very well known hotel. Beautiful mexican contemporary architecture and fine service. Service is good. Location is convenient. Parking extremely expensive. Too much traffic except on week ends. Popular venue for organized events. In organized events food is just good nothing expectacular but looks very nice.

Had a terrible experience at This property of Camino Real. Prices were sky high and on top of it breakfast, internet and water bottle was chargeable. Rooms were average, and they even messed up not giving me the bills for room service I ordered, though they insisted on immediate cash payment every time i availed room service. Surprisingly Camino Real...

This is a traditional Mexican style hotel. Only plus is they have several restaurants on site which are good. Breakfast is great. Several minuses include poor internet quality (Despite paying for the internet - high price), no coffee pot in the room etc. Price for stay is also high and one would expect internet and coffee pot to be included...

Was staying on business for a week. Had a club room. The room was clean, modern, quiet, the bed comfortable, and the internet worked. The hotel was very busy, particularly during breakfast time. I tried the main breakfast place once, which was OK, but then preferred to use the club room for breakfast, which was just fine and quiet. Would...

It is a very good hotel if you have a connecting flight to another place. The room was clean, the staff were helpful and the room-service breakfast was quite filling and delicious. It is a life saver for people on transit, and good enough hotel for visitors too.

I choose the hotel because it was close to my workplace and offered internet. The internet signal was so weak I couldn't even sustain a phone call using Skype. Two nights the internet was disconnected from 9:00 pm. The second night at 11:00 pm I called reception to complain and after one hour waiting they told me to go down...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
