This hotel needs a major upgrade. The location is great and wifi works well in my room. The shower is small and the AC doesn't work. It's on a street that has many good restaurants. It's near the Angel of Independence and US embassy.

I took a deluxe room and 3 of 10 days I didn´t have hot water. I guess it was about the timing 7 AM where everyone was using the service. The wifi is ok to do random searches in internet but definitely not enough to work. One of the lifts was off-service a couple of times. People at front desk...

My husband and I had to book a hotel at the last minute. Our original plans fell through and so we decided to book something in Mexico City close to tourist areas and restaurants. So the location was very good. Checking in was brutal though. There was a group of about 10 in front of us and they could not...

Our room was on the tenth floor on the street side. Both nights we could hear bar noise, sirens, people laughing, etc. easily through the window until the wee hours. The room (1004) has not been renovated as of last week, and it looks like it is from the 1960's----cheap chair, cheap small round table, cheap beds, 20-W bulb (maybe)....

During a business trip to Mexico City, I bookended my official travel with stays at the Hotel del Angel. The price point is unbeatable, and the location is excellent. At that rate, however, don't expect the Ritz, and consider bringing earplugs if you are not used to city noise. Most floors have not been updated, and appear to be stuck...

I liked it a lot. Spacious, nice room, good location, clean, big and comfortable bed The TV was kind of small for that room and I was able to hear the street noise at night, a little uncomfortable. No fridge and I couldn't find the A/C control, Lucky me I had good weather when I was there.

We booked a three night stay through Expedia thinking it was a decent hotel and centralized to the center of Mexico City. The location was spot on but the hotel was horrible. Front desk service and rooms was very low quality. The rooms (we had two) were dirty, the beds were not made two days in a row, we requested...
