We stayed here for 4 nights recently - the longest stay in Mexico for us unfortunately. While it is clean and the staff are friendly enough we were disappointed with a few things. Firstly there was a misunderstanding about our breakfast being included which was sorted out and we think the hotel sent a platter of fruit to our room...

Booked this place with some hesitation based on the other reviews, but thought the location worth the risk. Turned out it was a great choice. Clean rooms with super thick windows for soundproofing. Busy lobby with lots of activities and people. The elevator is in a weird place, but other than that, no complaints. And the location is amazing. Concierge...

I have never seen such a horrible accomodation in my life! We ended up here due to a problem with the hotel we booked and it was God awful! The rooms are minuscule and filthy, the furniture is ancient...all in all it looks like a grave! The. Breakfast was average and i don't even have words to describe the bathrooms...you...

Good morning. We would like to know what year stayed at Hotel Ritz as our hotel is completely remodeled, it would be good to come check it before making negative comments towards our hotel. Regards.

Walking distance to the zocalo or the Plaza de la Constitucion where Mexico City Cathedral and the National Palace. The Hotel is on a pedestrianized street which comes alive at night with artists, performers and vendors offering colorful souvenirs. Global clothing brands as well as lively restaurants and bars are along the street. It is also near the Palacio de...

Where to start? Location is great, close to Zocola and restaurants., however be WARNED. This hotel suffers from poor management, which I turn reflects badly on the staff. By the time our 5 day stay was up we were glad to leave as we felt at every turn someone from this hotel had their hand in our pockets. First up,...

Hotel location is centrally located, convenient to lots of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The rooms are small dark and dingy, no AC, old, boxy type of TV, old dirty carpet and ongoing construction. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel because I prepaid my reservation on line, both days the cleaning staff woke me up by nocking on my...

Great location as all others have stated. The hallway floor to our room was covered in plastic wrap giving it that fresh murder scene look, and they also had a TV graveyard lining the corridors. We appeared to have a recently renovated room and it was fine until they started working on the surrounding rooms at 7am playing loud music...

We stayed 17th to 24th March 2015. The hotel is on Modero, a pedestrianised street which at one end has the Zocalo, and at the other Bella Artes. When empty you can walk to the former in 5 minutes & the latter in 2 minutes. However the street is very rarely empty, and at the weekend ......full, is an understatement,...

The best is its location, in the hart of Mexico City; exactly in one of the most crowded streets in the historic downtown; however because they have noise free windows, the street and a night club that was noisy in the past not represent a problem to rest well. “Room 203 overlooks the street has a bath and shower, and has a router in the room so fantastic wifi reception.”
of 5 bubbles Thewanderingwinos, Jan 1, 2015 | Read review
“I recommend that you request a room that faces the street. While it seems counterintuitive in relation to noise, facing away from the street means overlooking either the outside patio area (third floor) which is a lovely spot for having a beer or glass of wine, but if people are out there and you're trying to sleep, it can get noisy. If you are really unlucky your room will overlook nothing, but you will be treated to barking concerts from the guard dogs in the jewelry stores that are attached to the hotel. While the dogs don't bark all night, when they do bark it is loud, and it can go on for 15 minutes or half an hour while the street noise dies down and does not pick up again 'til morning.”
