This is a very location in Mexico City, the hotel is a small hotel, only 6 floors, but the rooms are comfortable not by mention the great beds it has, you can walk around this facility and you will find many restaurants, pubs and taquerias. Parking is small, so you need to take your cautions.
The location is convenient for a tourist, half way between the center and Chapultepec Park. In fact, I walked to each of those locations until I was able to get a Metro card. There is a Metro Bus station at Pushkin Park, about half a block away, which is perfect for getting to the west end of the Alameda. Lots of reasonable eating places nearby, including some street stalls and the churro place on Obregon. Also a reasonable walk through a nice neighborhood to the Fuente de Cibeles where the HOHO bus stops. Parts of the surrounding area can feel a bit sketchy during off hours, so taking an Uber is another option until you get a feel for which streets to walk on. As far as the hotel, it was clean, everything worked (except I had issues with one of the computers downstairs). The towels are a bit thin, the coffee filter pack was stale on the first day. TV reception is poor. I had an ugly view but the room was fairly quiet and the window does open for ventilations. A/C and heat worked. Ate at the weekend buffet which was just okay, food wasn't as good or as much variety as I had hoped (as compared to others in Mexico such as the Fiesta Inns). Found the staff to be polite and pleasant, even if to just smile and say good morning. All of my charges were accurate. I use Uber to and from the hotel, and the hotel staff are fine with that vs taxis, still received luggage assistance.…
Excellent location near restaurants, metro bus station, pharmacy, shopping centre & theatre. Clean and nice environment. Friendly staff. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Rate does not include breakfast. Room do not have fridge. I would prefer some extra lights at the room.
Lovely staff. Rooms are spacious and clean With water in rooms and a good sized bathroom. breakfast here is good enough. There isn’t a lounge to sit down and unless you have a suite there are very few easy chairs in which to sit. I would however definitely recommend. Great value too
This is a traditional hotel that has been well renovated. There is a free underground car park for guests, which is a great advantage. The location is excellent, right among the bars and restaurants of the trendy colonia Roma and the streets are safe to walk around and admire the interesting architecture of various historical buildings. The staff are very friendly and provide a warm, helpful welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the beds very comfortable. Ask for a room overlooking the Pushkin park for a good view of everyday Roma life. The breakfast buffet is varied and generous and the waiters very helpful. Very good value for money.
