It seems that some people who pay one star prices are shocked when they don't get five star service.Having read some negative comments about this hotel, i was somewhat surprised to find it was not to bad. Yes there is room for improvment, but for the price i paid i got value for my money! The rooms were big, clean... More

The staff either do not speak English or have a very poor command of the language which I would think would be an essential requirement for communication in an international hotel. Choose a different hotel if you cannot speak fluent Spanish! Also the hotel is showing signs of needing an update. The electronic room locks were very problematical with very... More

We had average experience. Guest room carpets need replacement with commercial grade carpets or tiles, Also bed blankets need replacement. Breakfast was good. Very conveniently located to the city center. Communication with the desk staff and restaurant staff was problem as no one spoke English.

We spend just one night, the Hotel staff was very kind. We didn't have the chance to taste the food. Ubication of this Hotel is fine if you are on business trip, vacation not to good, although the Zocalo is not far streets are kind of lonely. Near is a food place called "El Cuadrilatero" a place to taste very... More

Typically at BW you know what to expect and are seldom surprised although from time to time disappointed. This proved to be the case at the BW Estoril. The hotel is advertised as being in the Historico Centro of Mexico City. True enough I guess, but they fail to mention it is also in the middle of a commercial part... More

We were delayed in our flight and ended up having to find a hotel in Mexico City for three nights. The Best Western Estoril had availability and we were glad they did. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, the staff were as helpful as they could be, offering suggestions for things to do... More

I was not atall impressed with this hotel. The room was very small and the ac was extremely old fashioned and didn't really work very well. The hotel had probably the worst Internet access I've used in 5 years, they said it was working fine, but it was slower than dialup. The service at the front desk was appalling, to... More

Stayed here for a Contiki trip by myself. Beds were VERY hard (and I pride myself on being able to sleep anywhere) so sleeping the first night was a bit of a struglle. The air con / heater in my room kept turning off and the water in the shower was freezing. The rooftop pool area was great, although they... More

Staying in Alameda

Neighborhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
