This place has a great location, in the historical center of Mexico City, the building is gorgeous. However, being and old building it needs special maintenance, more than regular modern buildings. This hotels lacks of this maintenance and you can feel just upon entering to your room. It was very humid inside, you can smell the humidity. The worst part...

Gee I just love this place. I stay elsewhere in Mexico City from time to time but always ultimately head back to the Majestic. The location, the windows facing out onto the Zocolo, the wonderful staff always make me happy. Ask for a room facing the Zocolo. If the beds are too hard, they have had foam pads to add...

The location was great easy and close to many attractions but the beds were the hardest I have ever slept on. It is located on the zocalo so the noise at night was often loud. The buffet was good and the service was good. It is a very old hotel so the fixtures and amenties reflect that.

A group of 12- 2 nights at this hotel while our friends from US visited Mexico, I was confident based in the brand Best Western; It's promoted as 4 stars hotel. The hotel is taking advantage as it has 'prestige' in Mexico as it was for sure a very good hotel but long time ago. The rooms we had are...

I appreciated the hotel's location as well as the history contained in the building. Loved the elevator. I loved looking down on the active streets below from our balcony as well as dining in the roof top restaurant overlooking the square. What I didn't like...the noise...it was incredibly noisy from the streets below (though it did tame down about 11...

It was our last night in Mexico City and we wanted to pass a relaxing evening. We have noticed that hotel with the terrace overlooking the main square, and I have also read some good reviews about it, so we didn't want to keep looking around any more. After a day spent walking and sightseeing, after all the crowded streets,...

The hotel is in such a beautiful old building. The interiors are really something, and the views of the square are amazing. As far as the rooms go, the bathrooms are cool and old timey, but the beds -omg- THE BEDS are kind of a joke and might be actually made from planks of wood with a fitted sheet over...

Just back from a 5 day stay here. First off, let me say that I am a really low-maintenance traveler. I'm pretty easy to please; I just want a safe, fairly comfortable base to explore from. I've stayed in hostels all over the world, dormitories, monasteries, slept on floors, on ferries, in train stations, in tents, etc. This place had...

This place is an excellent base for a vacation trip, it is right on the hearth of Mexico city, so the location couldn't be better. The entrance is to the side of calle Madero, beware though this is an old building with all installations, even the elevator is of the kind were a person hast to open/close the door and...

The Magestic Hotel is right on the corner of Avenido Madero and the Zocalo. Although I don't stay at this Best Western property (prices are much too high in my opinion), I do stop in to the the roof-top bar whenever I'm in Mexico City. There are few better places in the capital to enjoy a cold beer (at reasonable...
