Mexico city has everything that we wanted and more. The Best Western Majestic has a abulous location in downtown, historical, central Mexico City. Easy access to major tourist sites, facilities and services. Very appropriate for the location. Reasonable price.

The hotel is in a great location, so that's a plus. And the price was right. But, it just annoyed me that there was no safe in the room (not one that has worked in a very long time anyway). I wasn't made aware of this when booking. Otherwise it was ok. The staff was nice enough, the room was... More

The Majestic Hotel in Mexico City is brilliantly situated on a corner of the Zocalo right in the centre of the historic heart of the town, and its 7th floor restaurant overlooks all the action. Everyone who works there is charm itself; and the interior and exterior are beautiful with all the historic and original tiles, both on the walls... More

We were told we were given a quiet room. The quiet rooms are overlooking the quadrangle / reception area. Every noise can be heard from here. Also this room was directly below the restaurant kitchen, all noise from above can be heard here. The bathroom window is part of the void between buildings and possibly the rubbish is located at... Right on the corner of Zocaro Square. The hotel faces the Cathedral and Palace. We were there during the Christmas holiday and the enormous Christmas tree was right in front of the hotel. Could not ask for a better location. If you do tours such as on viator, Zocalo is the starting point for many tours. Restaurants, bars, sights, and... More

This hotel had its pros and cons pros: location, literally on Madero street in front of Zocalo, metro station, shopping area, ice skating ring etc. The view from room 208 was beautiful, looks out into the zocalo. cons: noise level is bad specially if your room faces the zocalo its worse! ask for a room inland. also wifi is terrible... Location is great, close to many touristic spots and good restaurants. Staff is quite friendly and helpfull. From the hotel, you can walk to several atractions, like the Zocalo Squarte, Latino Americana Tower and Mexico City Cathedral. The only problem is the bathroom, which leaks a lot of water everytime someone takes a shower, making a real mess. To sum... More

We've gone to Mexico City 6 times over the last 20 years. It is an exciting intense world class place. Can't say enough about how much I love this grand city. The last 5 times we stayed at the Hotel Canada, which is a basic Zocalo hotel but comfortable. This time we stayed at the Best Western Hotel Majestic. Everything... More

Perfect location, very reasonable rates. Do not stay here if you require absolute quiet. From the sixth floor, I heard the same song played by a street musician at least 35 times one afternoon. Friendly, English speaking staff. This is a value hotel with rooms appropriate for that class. Very safe in the center of the City. Only downer is... More

I ate at the resturant in this hotel and after sending my food back literally 3 times for being cold while my friend sent his back 2 times for the same reason we both paid for our uneaten food and left. The service here is terrible, the food bad and the attitude below par. I would recommend going to the... More
