The hotel is two blocks from Mexico City's Zocalo (cit center). Service is good. The rooms are comfortable and have all the necessary amenities. The rates are really convenient and include Mexican breakfast. For a city like Mexcio City, the relationship between price and quality is well above average! (US $ 50.00 / night), full breakfast included.

Nice hotel in the old centre of Mexico-city. It is only a two-minute walk to the main square, the Zócalo. Especially for a first visit this is a great location, as it is only two passes away from the most important sights. It looks like the hotel has been recently refurbished, at least the room I stayed in was modern,... More

I was staying in Mexico City for only a few days so I wanted to stay in an area close to some of the things I hoped to see. Hotel Catedral was perfect for this! I had asked for a room on an upper floor looking at the catedal. I got neither which was very disappointing. The walls are very... More

My fiance and I decided to spend our first night of our Central Mexico trip near the Zocalo and historic district since we flew into the capitol. We chose the Hotel Catedral based on it's reviews, location and nightly rates. We could not have been happier with our stay, The receptionist Karina Esquival greeted us warmly and upon hearing that... More

Hotel Cathedral is about a block behind the Cathedral in Mexico City. That means it's right in the historic center and has easy Metro connections to get anyplace else in the city. the historic center. The staff has always been helpful. There is a concierge who can help you make plans or reservations for restaurants or entertainment. There is a... More

...for value, location, hospitality. My wife and I stayed here five nights for our 20th anniversary, and could not imagine a better visit. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms; near the Zocalo, Reforma, Bellas Artes and many other historic sites; great breakfast--either buffet or Delma will cook to order, with friendly & attentive service from Estela and Mayra; reception/concierge very helpful--Jessica, Nicolas and... I last stayed at Hotel Catedral about 10 years ago - it was nice then and now very nicely renovated. Comfortable room and bed, friendly helpful staff, good tasty food in the restaurant at reasonable prices, and great location in the Centro Historico.

Really nice hotel. It is right in the city center, just a couple blocks away from the Zocalo. Staff is nice and helpful, and at the reception they offer typical "aguas frescas". Rooms are not huge, but spacious, though. The breakfast is very good, they offer fruits, juices, bread and the lovely chef can cook anything you want for you... More

I was very pleased with my stay at the Hotel Catedral. The rooms are big and very clean. The breakfast is good vith coffe and fresh juice. I also enjoyed some hot dishes, sandwiches and so on. They also made fresh omelettes of your choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is also perfect.
