Property's Favorite Review
Our family of four stayed in a 2-bedroom at Dominion for five nights. The unit was fantastic ... tons of space and great amenities. The best part was the location, which was across from Parque Lincoln and very safe. We loved being right near the part of Polanco with outdoor cafes and great streets to roam on ... really felt the European influence. Although we ran out of time to see it, right inside the park is an aviary, and you can hear the birds even without going in. It's a condo, but run sort of like a hotel, so here's what to expect: - Reception isn't 24-hours behind a desk. There's one or two people in an office, and after hours, the security guys help you with whatever you need. - They provide you with two (or more, if you ask) glass bottles for purified water, which you refill in the lower level of the building. (They're not going to deliver water bottles to your room, glass or otherwise.) Only real concern about this is that at night, they turn the water off. That makes no sense to me, especially if there's an emergency. - Door security is 24/7, which is great. If you come back in the wee hours, just knock on the door. - The pool and outdoor area is small but lovely. You need to "reserve" it for an hour (COVID), but there was no problem getting the time we wanted. - This place is very eco-friendly. You'll get one bath towel per person unless you specifically ask for more. There was only one hand towel in the bathroom for my husband and I, which was a little weird. - If you are a Jewish sabbath observer, this place is awesome: inside the eruv, with kosher restaurants and markets close by (and they all deliver!), and a security doorman who will let you in with a knock at the door (rather than having to buzz the doorbell). Also, the big famous hotels, money exchange, etc. are right there as well. If we go back to Mexico City (which was wonderful), we'll stay at Dominion Polanco!

The staff at Domion Polanco were so helpful and kind. And the suites are beautiful. Lots of space. Living room, dinning room, kitchen, all open floor plan. And two beautiful bedrooms. I hesitate to call it a hotel because the suites are really more like a temporary home. The location is amazing. I would book right away.

I strongly recommend Dominion Polanco if you are going to Mexico City, particularly in a group of more than 2 people. Apartments are massive and very well stocked (I recommend to the hotel management to leave some paper towels and towels for the kitchen!). The location is excellent. The hotel is located in a very lovely corner of Polanco, close to everything. The staff goes above and beyond- even if it’s not your classic hotel setup, it feels like you’re in a 5 star property. The breakfast is particularly lovely. Just one thing: if you can , get an apartment on floor 2 or above, as floor 1 (where I was) doesn’t get much sunlight.

I stayed here for over a year while working in Mexico City. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Given most of the stay happened during COVID-19, the facilities were clean and sanitary. All staff was protected, and I had no issues/concerns throughout the entire stay.

Dominion Polanco is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed during my 20 years of marriage and moving my family from country to country for my work. Luxurious and extra clean! Mr. Israel and the staff were very accommodating to my family’s needs. Also, the internet is top notch and supported 3 online students and me teleworking while we waiting for permanent housing.

Dominion is a boutique serviced apartment experience - polite and efficient staff (I had very positive interactions with the cleaners, security and reception), relaxed but classy atmosphere and open plan apartments that would comfortably fit a family of five. The location in the hotel zone of Polanco is highly sought after. I do recommend staying here for either a long or a short term stay.

Besides the spacious nicely appointed apartments, this hotel is pet friendly (though there is a pet fee). It is located across the street from Lincoln Park which is a very dog friendly park. Some locals had theirs off-leash, but since busy streets line the park, we did not. There are lots of restaurants with outdoor seating all around. The staff at the Dominion couldn't have been nicer. They have a water filter machine so you can fill up their glass bottles (or your own) whenever you want. The location felt very safe and the hotel security included an underground garage for your car and a doorman 24 hrs. I highly recommend it if traveling with dogs or children - or even if you just want an apartment rather than a hotel.

We stayed at Dominion Polanco for 5 days with our two small children. Israel was beyond helpful from the minute we booked our stay... always answering my emails quickly. When we arrived, we felt very welcome by all the staff, including Hugo and Israel who were there to personally greet us. I would also like to mention that the doormen were wonderful and always available to let us in and out with a friendly smile. Daily housekeeping was greatly appreciated too. The condo we stayed in was immaculate and they are incredibly spacious. They are completely equipped with kitchen utensils, washer, dryer, plenty of towels and comfortable bedrooms. The (heated) pool area was private and there was a lovely lobby where we could eat a light breakfast every morning. We felt comfortable instantly and loved the local coffee shops and restaurants that were just a few steps away from the condo. For anyone planning on working during your stay at dominion, you’ll be glad to know that WiFi is super fast and also free! During our stay we enjoyed Chapultepec Park, nearby museums, San Angel Saturday Market, historic zone and Teotihuacan. Dominion is centrally located so we were never stuck in long Uber rides. Absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it highly to traveling families.
