Besides the spacious nicely appointed apartments, this hotel is pet friendly (though there is a pet fee).
It is located across the street from Lincoln Park which is a very dog friendly park. Some locals had theirs off-leash, but since busy streets line the park, we did not.
There are lots of restaurants with outdoor seating all around.

The staff at the Dominion couldn't have been nicer. They have a water filter machine so you can fill up their glass bottles (or your own) whenever you want.

The location felt very safe and the hotel security included an underground garage for your car and a doorman 24 hrs.

I highly recommend it if traveling with dogs or children - or even if you just want an apartment rather than a hotel.

We stayed at Dominion Polanco for 5 days with our two small children. Israel was beyond helpful from the minute we booked our stay... always answering my emails quickly. When we arrived, we felt very welcome by all the staff, including Hugo and Israel who were there to personally greet us.

I would also like to mention that the doormen were wonderful and always available to let us in and out with a friendly smile. Daily housekeeping was greatly appreciated too.

The condo we stayed in was immaculate and they are incredibly spacious. They are completely equipped with kitchen utensils, washer, dryer, plenty of towels and comfortable bedrooms.

The (heated) pool area was private and there was a lovely lobby where we could eat a light breakfast every morning.

We felt comfortable instantly and loved the local coffee shops and restaurants that were just a few steps away from the condo.

For anyone planning on working during your stay at dominion, you’ll be glad to know that WiFi is super fast and also free!

During our stay we enjoyed Chapultepec Park, nearby museums, San Angel Saturday Market, historic zone and Teotihuacan. Dominion is centrally located so we were never stuck in long Uber rides.

Absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it highly to traveling families.

I strongly recommend Dominion Polanco if you are going to Mexico City, particularly in a group of more than 2 people. Apartments are massive and very well stocked (I recommend to the hotel management to leave some paper towels and towels for the kitchen!). The location is excellent. The hotel is located in a very lovely corner of Polanco, close to everything. The staff goes above and beyond- even if it’s not your classic hotel setup, it feels like you’re in a 5 star property. The breakfast is particularly lovely. Just one thing: if you can , get an apartment on floor 2 or above, as floor 1 (where I was) doesn’t get much sunlight.

This 2 bedroom flat was large and roomy but there were lots of problems. There was an issue with the hot water in that you turn on the shower, it runs hot for maybe 2 minutes and then the water goes cold and the temperature cannot be adjusted. This happened every day despite my telling reception staff. Their response was always the same - ‘ it’s been fixed!’ - but for 13 days I had to have a cold shower - and that was after having paid more than £300 per night. Also the shower nozzle could not be adjusted rendering one of the bathrooms redundant as the angle of the water spray was so uncomfortable.

Also the noise level was extreme as the hotel is right opposite a restaurant where buskers play outside every evening and patrons make a lot of noise till 2.30am most nights! This isn’t the hotel’s fault but it’s worth mentioning if you’re considering staying here. The flat comes with no essentials and you need to equip it from scratch - washing tablets, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, salt, pepper, everything!
The staff were pleasant especially the doormen who helped us when we were leaving and torrential storms had caused gridlock throughout the whole area. They helped us with our luggage as we had to walk far away to get an Uber to the airport.
If I return to Mexico City I will stay in a hotel as at least I can be assured of hot water there!

Dominion is a boutique serviced apartment experience - polite and efficient staff (I had very positive interactions with the cleaners, security and reception), relaxed but classy atmosphere and open plan apartments that would comfortably fit a family of five. The location in the hotel zone of Polanco is highly sought after. I do recommend staying here for either a long or a short term stay.

Dominion Polanco is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed during my 20 years of marriage and moving my family from country to country for my work. Luxurious and extra clean! Mr. Israel and the staff were very accommodating to my family’s needs. Also, the internet is top notch and supported 3 online students and me teleworking while we waiting for permanent housing.

Everything about our stay at Dominion Polanco was perfect from start to finish. Hugo and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and gracious. Hugo made our check-in abundantly comfortable, fast, and very very easy. Our room was clean, modern, and huge—we were informed all rooms are the same size. The neighborhood was also perfect and incredibly convenient. We had dinner at Dulce Patria and Pujol while we were in CDMX—both were less than ten minutes walking from the hotel. We could not have been any happier with our stay at Dominion Polanco and fully intend to stay there for all future trips to Mexico City. A thousand thanks!

The staff was terrific, friendly, professional and kind. This included the managers, security and cleaning crew. The property location is outstanding.

Areas for improvement:
-WiFi was inconsistent. It was far worse at night.

-For a long stay the breakfast became mundane as it was mostly the same everyday.

A great place to stay indeed. It´s surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. It´s pretty near from other interesting spots such as Plaza Carso Shopping Mall, The Soumaya Museum, the Aquarium, etc. We are definetely looking forward to stay there again.
