We just returned from a 4-day trip to Mexico City, staying for the first time at Chillout Flats B&B and I can't recommend it highly enough! The location in the Centro Historico is perfect....midway between the Zocalo and the Alameda Central.....within walking distance of major attractions, several museums and good restaurants. For longer distances, the Metro (Allende) is only about a block away. The B&B is located in a large apartment building with 24-hour security and an elevator. All of the rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and each has an ensuite bathroom. We stayed in the spacious Junior Suite on the 1st floor which had a living/dining area with mini frig, large bathroom with shower and bedroom with a king size bed and huge closet. Smaller rooms on the 2nd floor have bathtubs. All rooms are extremely quiet. The WiFi throughout the B&B is excellent but none of the rooms have a TV. A very nice hot breakfast with fresh fruit and lots of homemade goodies is served every morning in a small dining area...each day something different is served. David and his mother are wonderful hosts. If you want a great location at a very reasonable price, Chillout Flats is the place to stay!

This is a lovely B&B in the heart of the historical part of Mexico city. It is well run by Rosario and her husband. She is a Virgo, and this place reflected that: Super organised and spotless. It is amazing how quiet our room was, just as we required. Breakfast was just enough. Suggestion: If it possible to offer the alternative of Mexican hot chocolate with the breakfast ? Thanks again for the hospitality.

Our visit was back in Jan '18, so apologies for the late review. We stayed in the Ganesha room. It was very cozy and well thought out - there were lots of hooks and places to put things. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a good temperature in January, a little cold, but good for sleeping. It does have a heater if it is too cold. It's also pretty quiet there at night, even on the weekend, but you can hear staff making/prepping breakfast before 8AM (which is not really a complaint, just an observation). The staff there are very nice and friendly, I think a family runs it. The breakfast is great. The location is awesome, we were able to just stay in the city center and walk wherever we wanted. It's in an apartment building with security on the ground floor as well, though we definitely never felt unsafe in the area. You'll probably have to check in with security first when you arrive. The latest we came back to the hotel was probably around 11pm or so, for reference. We will absolutely be back on our next visit to Mexico City. You can't beat the value for the location, plus it's very comfortable and cozy to boot.

What a wonderful place! We would definitely recommend to stay there!!! The apartment is spacious and very nice. Breakfast was very delicious and it served in a very nice and cozy atmosphere. It is located very central and in a very short walking distance to the main signs where you will also find a plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and sightseeing bus check-in station. Special and a massive thank to the Proprietors for giving us advises regarding the trips, helping organize these as well as the taxi transfers to the airport. Thank you so much again for taking a very good care of us and for being such a great and wonderful hosts.
