We did partial points + cash for our 4 night stay. We also got the suite night awards upgrade to a palatial 1 bedroom suite that was bigger than houses we have lived in. Everyone gets a butler (or rotating team, depending on time of day). We interacted most with Butler Efren - what a gem he is! Imagine a young, latino Jeff Goildblum in a fancy butler uniform with gold buttons. He was so kind to bring us some extra of the Mexican candy that was in the room on our arrival, so I could bring some home to my family. This was a wonderful property with a good size workout gym, an indoor pool., lovely restaurants. In fact when we got there, room wasn't ready so they treated us to a full lunch at the casual balcony restaurant, which was tasty and replenishing after our trip. Maid service was impeccable and timely. We even ordered a room service dinner one night and it was good and less expensive than several of the upscale restaurants we went to. It's also a very safe property. At ground floor there are armed security guards and plenty of valets. Lobby is on third floor with lots of desk agents and concierges. The only weird thing is that the shower and WC rooms in the huge bathroom had little to no lighting - it was like a nightlight near the floor, so you poop and shower in the dark. Beautiful views overlooking La Reforma. Be warned that the Marriott site does not list the full charges and taxes, so we were charged $900USD/night for 2 of our 4 nights (other 2 on points). Convenient location. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located in a safe area near attractions. I debated booking at tge newer Ritz Carlton but chose the St Regis based on reviews. Overall service was exemplary all accept for housekeeping. We left at 8 am for a tour of Teotihuacan put on our please make the room light. Returned at 4pm to room not cleaned. We called and they sent someone up right away, but when we came back they had left all the trash they collected in the room. The hotel management apologized profusely and sent up a gift for the mishap. The hotel is starting to show a bit of wear and tear. If I went back id try the Ritz!

We stayed at the St Regis for four nights in January during our time in CDMX and it was instantly a home away from home. We loved our time there and my only regret(s) are that I cannot remember the name of each and every team member to acknowledge individually and that we couldn’t stay longer. We were greeted warmly every time we returned to the hotel. Our requests - either by Bonvoy app chat or after stopping by the concierge desk - were instantly addressed. Housekeeping was wonderful - our room was made up each day no matter when we came back (they always beat us!) and turn down snuck in before we returned in the evenings. While perhaps dated, the rooms are spacious and have everything you could want within reach. Big fluffy towels and robes, thoughtful bathroom amenities, reliable wifi, strong water pressure and a wonderful dreamy bed with massive pillows that made it very hard to crawl out each morning. The staff, however, are what make this hotel so special and next level. The doormen, the front desk staff, the team of butlers and the concierges all helped create a memorable stay for us. We would happily and readily return at the next opportunity.

Enjoyed a five night stay that provided a long term rate of $400/night. Staff was very friendly from the start. Titanium status with the Bonvoy program entitled us to a complimentary and fantastic full service breakfast each day. Not true at the Ritz Carlton down the street. The breakfast service featured a full hot and cold buffet as well as an omelette station. Not sure of the actual value but assume it would be at least $50/person. We were upgraded to a room with a small terrace on the fourth floor. We met our butler soon after check in. Gave him the names of some restaurants we wanted to try and didn’t hear back from him. We did our own legwork and scored a reservation to one of them the next night. Wasn’t sure of the butler’s purpose after that. We did enjoy the champagne saber ceremony in the lobby. I did not like seeing the guard with the long gun in the arrivals area day after day. I suppose he’s there to reassure nervous Americanos who mistakenly believe that crime and kidnappings in CDMX are rampant the way they were 20-30 years ago. Coming from a gun obsessed country where even children possess firearms, I don’t like reminders of that while on vacation in a peaceful and happy place. Finally there is a nightclub of some sort near the property that blasts throbbing beats all night on Saturdays. It won’t bother most but the earplugs are on the nightstand for a reason.

We stayed at the St. Regis in Mexico City for our anniversary. they treated us royally; roses and rose petals in our room and a bottle of bubbly.” The staff was helpful and friendly to us during our stay. We were there with our son and his wife. He and I tasted the Bloody Mary since each St. Regis has its own “take.” I suggest they publish a book with pictures of each St.Regis location with numerous pictures, and the recipe each hotel uses. The four of us had a driver to take us to the sights we wanted to see. Our driver was Juan Miguel. I don’t think I can sufficiently laud his praises. He was knowledgeable about the sights, and narrated about each area we were driving through, and answered our multitude of questions. An extra added attraction being in the St. Regis was the tents of indigenous artists selling their wares on a street close by. There were artists who sold clothing, jewelry, foods, copper vases, wood sculptures, etc. Great place to purchase gifts. We highly recommend the hotel for its wonderful dining, great rooms and great staff.

It's great to hear you explored our iconic Bloody Mary and suggested a book showcasing each St. Regis location – a fantastic idea! We're thrilled Juan Miguel enhanced your sightseeing with his knowledge. The nearby indigenous artists' market adds a special touch. Came to the St Regis directly from the Sofitel Reforma and it was like a night and day experience. The service here is several leagues above what you can expect from the newer Sofitel hotel. Our butler, Génesis, has to be commended for hosting a private sabering in our room for my wife who was celebrating a birthday. It was one of the most magical experiences, made possible only by the incredibly high standards set by the staff at this hotel. An oasis from set just steps away from the madness of the Reforma.

We just spent a week here and it's definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area. Firstly, the hotel's location is ideal. It's situated within walking distance to many of the city's main attractions. Additionally, taking a morning walk or bike ride along Reforma Avenue is a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From the complimentary upgrade (as a Platinum member) to the butler service. Prior to our arrival, I had requested a rollaway bed, and it was ready in our room when we checked in. When I mentioned that the mattresses were a bit too soft for my liking, the staff promptly replaced them with firmer ones on the same day. Our dining experiences at the hotel were a bit of a mixed bag. The in-room service was excellent, offering some of the best tacos we've had, and the chicken nuggets were a big hit with my child. However, the breakfast options were somewhat disappointing. The absence of authentic local Mexican dishes and the overall bland flavors were the only minor drawbacks of our stay. Overall, our experience at the hotel was fantastic. We're already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Mexico City next year.

Without any reservation, the service at the St Regis Mexico City is the best I have experienced at any hotel/resort in the world. The hotel itself has the element of luxury that one would expect with St Regis but presents itself with a level of warmth and sincerity that made our family feel very much at home. Simply put, no stone is left unturned - from the wonderful staff at the front desk/concierge to bellman to the fitness center and restaurant staff and the unique butler service, every single request was catered to with a level of courtesy that is truly exemplary. We loved our stay at the St Regis and also our immersive experience in this incredibly diverse and culturally rich city. Amazing!

Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. I really loved the hotel and would stay here again. My *only* complaint was the thermostat in the room was difficult to use and the room was either freezing or hot and had a mind of its own regardless of how I set it. Otherwise the rooms were large and very luxurious, especially the bathroom with huge showers and a large soaking tub. I felt like it was my own little spa oasis. The food was delicious. The hotel was in a nice area walkable to many restaurants and business. And I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Exactly what a St Regis should be.
