My partner and I stayed here and were both so happy that we did! This hotel is located on a street surrounded by parks in Condesa. Honestly, nowhere is truly "quiet" in Mexico City, but this was a sanctuary and felt quite peaceful. We spent 8 nights here and actually spent a fair bit of time in the hotel itself because we needed rest after all of the walking, heat, and exploring each day. The hotel itself is in an amazing location. You'll see people walking their dogs all day, eating and drinking out front at the restaurants, and enjoying the other businesses on the street and around every corner. It's also a quick walk to some of the best places in the city, as well as to Roma Norte. We felt safe the entire time and loved everything about this spot.
I'm quite sensitive to noise but the street was filled with beautiful music and voices and I loved it. When it did get a bit loud (I only noticed one night on the weekend and it was just loud voices), the hotel has a little white noise machine for use. It actually worked quite well and I was grateful for it! I recommend just bringing earplugs because this is a big city.
The hotel itself is in an old building, so it has a ton of charm. You can hear footsteps in the hallway and sometimes voices travelling, but I wasn't bothered by it because everyone was respectful. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating... from the front desk to security to the servers and housekeeping... everyone was amazing!
The rooms have everything you need. They have a cute washroom, mini fridge, sink, coffee with a french press, bar stools, and lots of space for you to put your suitcase and hang some clothing. And if you don't want to grab a meal every morning or walk to grab coffee, you can go upstairs and have a light breakfast on the gorgeous rooftop!
I'd recommend this hotel to everyone. I loved the staff and the location so much and hope to be back one day!

Very kind, professional staff; quiet rooms and excellent location. Loved the historic building. A few items that would enhance the stay: improved WIFI, even tissue in the rooms, but would recommend to someone looking for neighborhood, and intimate location.

Excellent hotel in the Condessa neighborhood. Nice room and very nice/helpful staff. The building itself has some beautiful touches, including tiled hallways. Apparently it was an apartment building at one time. We had a friendly greeting and were offered a welcome drink at the convenient bar downstairs. Daily breakfast was very good and served at a beautiful terrace on the roof. The breakfast attendant (his name was Memmo I believe?) was extremely attentive and a pleasure to greet each morning. The neighborhood is fabulous. There is a beautiful lush park at the corner and we were close to many restaurants and bars. We felt perfectly safe walking late night in the area. The room had high ceilings, cable TV and some many amenities. The only (minor) complaint is that there is no elevator. Maybe i missed that in the description. Not a deal breaker by any means but it is a bit of a chore going up 4-5 flights after a day of sightseeing if you are on one of the top floors. The cost of the room was very inexpensive compared to comparable hotels. Overall, highly recommended. I am sure we will return.

A beautiful vintage building in the fantastically walkable and enjoyable La Condesa neighborhood. The bed was incredibly comfortable, handsome custom robes in the room and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great cocktail lounge!

Our stay at San Fernando was more than perfect. We fell in love with that place and enjoyed every Minute. The room was beautiful and very clean, the bed supercomfortable, the architecture and design amazing! The local breakfast at the rooftop (extra thanks to the heartful service) and the beautiful bar (drinks and interior) were my highlights. All in all every detail and every employee made us feel welcome and I can recommend San Fernando wholeheartedly.

This hotel had everything we needed. The rooms were very nice, super comfortable bed, and robes. Breakfast is included in a gorgeous green space on the roof of the hotel. There is also a bar with some apps downstairs. All the food and drinks were delicious. The hotel staff was incredible. They were always kind and helpful. We even stored our bags there on the last day for several hours. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Parque Mexico and numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The center of the city is a short uber ride away where you'll find Lucha Libre and a number of museums. I loved our stay here.

The building is cute, a lovely art deco design; the entry has a nice hip vibe. But we opted for a terrace room, not knowing that meant climbing FIVE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. At an altitude of over 7300 feet. No elevator. They really really ought to disclose this before anyone makes a reservation. I would never have booked this room. One flight I'd be willing to climb. But we paid extra for the rooftop terrace and ended up with a room that felt like an afterthought. The spaces were oddly laid out. It was very hard to get out of bed because it was wedged in tightly between two walls. There were multiple electrical conduits exposed on the ceiling which made it feel very industrial...and not in a chic design way, more like a shabby office under the roof of a warehouse. There were windows from our room into the hall that let a lot of light in (the lights in the stairwell and hall stayed on all night) which was a bit bright and not very conducive to sleep. Positives: Staff were uniformly helpful and very nice. Location is great. The bathroom was very nice, though the sink needs some Drano or a snake. Very slow to drain.

An old friend and I had a lovely time in this very comfortable hotel. We were in the Ocio. BTW, make sure your Uber is taking you to the Hotel San Fernando in la Condesa! There is another hotel with the same name in a seedier location! Uber defaulted to the other hotel, which was frustrating.
The Hotel San Fernando in la Condesa is very clean and beautifully decorated. (If you are looking for privacy, get separate rooms as there are no bedroom doors in the Ocio.) There is street noise as it's an older building and the sound travels easily, but it is mostly pleasant and gets much quieter at night. Breakfast and drinks were delicious. I'd stay here again for sure.
