Just far enough (2 blocks) away from the Zocalo to avoid protest rally problems but close enough for short walks to the great sites in the Centro Historico. The staff gave us some great restaurant and site seeing recommendations, which is very helpful in such a massive city.

I've stayed at this hotel probably 10 times while in Mexico City on business. It is a tremendous value because of the amenities, location, and proximity to two very nice restaurants. It is also 1-2 blocks from other stores (Oxxo, Drug Store, Department Stores, etc) if you need anything. The people are always friendly and the architecture of this hotel...

Although the streets are busy with people coming and going, the hotel itself is very relaxing and laid back. After a busy day of meetings and sitting in traffic, it was nice to come to the hotel to relax and unwind. Plenty to see and do nearby if you choose to do so. Plenty of places nearby to eat or...

We spent 4 days there and had wonderful breakfasts, great internet access and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were varied, tasty and fresh. The location is a couple of blocks from the Central Plaza and even though the streets were busy outside, it was quiet inside. The hotel itself was a refurbished monastery and...

While staying at the Hampton Inn at Mexico City in the historic downtown; I was amazed at the presence of the hotel. Its accessibility, location and how well it is kept. I love to come here because the staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and respectful. I feel safe and well taken care of. If you visit Mexico, make sure you...

Good value hotel, but be aware that the location in the historical district, may not be appropriate for everybody, especially at night. It is convenient to visit many sights, but at night the area does not feel very safe and there are some dodgy streets near by.

This was my husband's and my third trip to Mexico City and stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel is lovely, the suites are very comfortable and large, and with the breakfast included, it makes it a great value. This is the only property that we've stayed at in Mexico City so I realize this is a very biased review...

The staff at this hotel are fantastic, very friendly, very helpful and speak great English. Our room was small but we were offered another larger room that we declined to take. The hotel is clean, safe and right in the thick of things, great location to walk to most of the attractions.

We recently stayed in this Mexico City hotel for 7 days on our first trip to Mexico City. It was a nice clean room and an excellent location. The hotel is a few blocks from 2 different Metro lines, making it safe and easy to move around the city. The hotel staff was nice and we saved money every morning...

Chose the Hampton Inn & Suites Centro hotel primarily for its location but discovered that it offered more than a regular hotel. Lovely hotel also offers free access to wi-fi, buffet style breakfast, free laundry facility, free business access. Staff helpful and smiling. Will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Mexico City.
