General comments first. This hotel is located right in the heart of old Mexico City - great location. It is an historic hotel with great architectural features. It is not a luxury hotel but very comfortable, rating 3.5 stars in my book. Restaurant provides a basic breakfast. The great thing is the staff - could not be more helpful whatever... More

We stayed here one night out of our four scheduled nights. The location is fantastic because it is so close to el Zocalo, but it is not worth the size of the room, nor the sound of people scurrying around getting their breakfast in the morning! Because of the atrium shape of the hotel, the sound carries. Pros: location, clean... More

Stayed here for about a week with my wife and it was just a great stay. Room was super clean, no odors, the right temperature.. the works! We were here during vacations and the continental breakfast area was usually busy so you had to be there early but there are a lot of nearby restaurants that you can try (I... More

We stayed at this Hampton Inn and loved the location. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is very helpful. And the breakfast was a very nice surprise---hot foods as well as the usual cereal, breads, and juice. To get the best rate go to the Hampton/Hilton website and join the Hilton Honors awards club. This will give... More

This hotel is located at the Historic Center is downtown Mexico with a lot of attractions very near, walking distance to the Catedral, Diego Rivera murals at the National Palace or the Historical Temple (latest Aztec ruins discovered). I had the opportunity to visit Mexico City with a couple of friends and booked this Hampton Inn on points. What an extremely incredible value. First, the location of the hotel is centrally located in the centro historico area, a short walk from great restaurants, shops, tours, etc. The front desk provided me with plenty of water bottles, as did... It was the perfect location for our visit. Walking distance from the Zócalo, Cathedral, Templo Major and many more. . The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a typical Mexican breakfast like chilaquiles, as well as scrambled eggs, cereal etc.. the terrace in the 5th floor was also neat. The stairs show where the original elevator was .... More

Lovely, historic building easy walk to the Zocalo. Clean rooms with all expected amenities. Bed and pillows equal to a much higher end hotel. Very good breakfast with daily changes. Concierge Edgar extremely helpful with advise, maps, bookings. Recommend booking safe and economical taxis for day trips as we did with his help. Extremely affordable with dollar to peso conversion.... More
