My husband and I stayed 6 nights, for a combination of work/leisure trip. The staff was just excellent, kind, and attentive. I have a difficult last name, but I was completely surprised that everyone on the team made the effort to know my name and always attempted to address me by name while we were there. They arranged our Covid test for return to the United States, and when we didn't receive the results by email as expected, the concierge followed up and delivered a printed copy directly to our room. The management and front desk team helped accommodate an upgrade to the room for us, so that both my husband and I could work more comfortably - and it ended up being a lifesaver - My husband was hit by Montezuma's revenge and ended up spending most of the week in bed, and having that space and the extra bathroom made all the difference for us. We were so thankful. The M lounge was closed, so breakfast and dinner was provided by the restaurant and bar - and it was full service included as a platinum member. It was great, because between work and taking care of my husband, I ended up needing to eat at the hotel more often than expected. The only cons - internet in the lobby was super slow, so it makes working from there very challenging, and water pressure in the room was very low. These are the only 2 things that made me put 4* instead of 5*. However, given their great service, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and plan on staying there again on my future business trips.

We spent our last night in Mexico City and it was so lovely! Super clean, friendly staff, and lots of great amenities (food, exercise room, sauna). Special thanks to Capitan Eduardo Barrera, mesero Gabriel Jaramillo, y la hostess Daniela Valle for making our dining experience wonderful :) can’t wait to come back!

Booked a 4 night stay with points and the stay was perfect. Had a terrific view of Glorieta de la Palma, from our window. The room was great with an incredibly comfortable bed and good pillows. The shower was awesome, with great hot water and terrific water pressure. As a Bonvoy Platinum, I get access to the lounge, which was closed due to COVID. So they offered dinner in the evening at the bar and breakfast in the morning. Dinner was a huge menu and it was all free, in addition to soft drinks and water/tea/coffee. Breakfast was similar. The service was terrific. That's the best part of this hotel. I'm sure the other hotels are terrific, but I really liked this location. Polanco is nice, but it's the least Mexico City neighborhood, and Zona Rosa just has some incredible character and fun places to eat. If you're there on Sunday, they close down Reforma to all vehicle traffic and people just bike the length of it. Marriott has bikes you can borrow out front to enjoy biking safely.

There’s truly a lot of Marriott hotels in Mexico City. Mexico City and itself is a huge city. So choosing the right location is absolutely essential to avoid massive traffic jams which Mexico City is very famous for. When you arrive you realize that this is truly a Marriott Hotel. There is somebody taking care of your car if you drive by yourself, immediately somebody will come outside and help you with your luggage. The lobby is really beautiful and has a lot of natural light. The reception area is on the other side from the main entrance so you get to enjoy the entire lobby walking in. The check in process is very efficient and fast. The elevators are located directly next to the check in. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and try to two different room categories. A standard room and a suite. The room design is very traditional for Marriott and definitely not outdated. You really have everything you need. The GYM is big compared to the size of the hotel. For sure all the equipment is there. Small swimming pool and jacuzzi as well. Really nice! I did have a few issues with the service which were addressed by management but one of which was directly related to violations of COVID protocol. I think safety right now when it comes to COVID shouldn’t be compromised so I deduct one point.
