Stay away from this place. The rooms are not at all as promoted, and what is with no children in the building? I am out over $600 is overcharges that they will not correct. Do not make the mistake of booking here.

I so want to give this a better review. The architecture and atmosphere is just stunning. Likely the most beautiful venue we visited. The food was the least favorite meal we had during out entire stay in CDMX. They did not have an English menu, we tried translator apps and the waiter tried to assist. After some frustration, we order the steak by default. It was so bland and utterly without flavor. Maybe there are better offerings on the menu but we will never know. I would stop in for a drink just for the atmosphere but would not eat here again.

This isn't the Upper East Side ...so stop pretending. Will never return. Smells like sewage on top of the horrible staff. Owner should really be aware. Unbelievable that I spoke with the manager and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away!!!

Stayed there for a couple of nights. Hotel is aesthetically beautiful. The staffs were pleasant and the GM very responsive. My main issue was my room (204). Apparently the kitchen or the dishwashing room is located above this room and the consistent banging, dragging, and dropping of dishes made it hard to rest during the day and even late in the evening. I complained to the staff but it was late and hotel was booked. Next day, the GM did offered to move me to a different room, but I was going to be out all day and was not ready to move. The restaurant is also beautiful..

Very accommodating at the front desk. We arrived early and they held all our luggage until 3pm check in. We had complimentary tequila and chocolate as we checked in and Carlos hauled our bags up the 2 flights to our sweet room. It’s an old word hotel so the shower and sink are tiny and older. There is a nook for coffee and microwave. You do leave your room key at the desk and need a breakfast ticket for the service up one floor. As long as you are a fit person you will love the charm of this hotel in this terrific neighborhood. There is a terrace jazz club on the 3 rd floor where you get preferred seating and a complimentary margarita- arrive early. They do leave earplugs in your room.
