Rick and Carmen were wonderful hosts. We travel with friends and each room was clean, spacious and had unique decor. Carmen and her crew provided us with a breakfast that was filling and a wonderful blend of American and Mexican foods. The highlight Rick. He was kind enough to share his historical knowledge of Guanajuato and introduced us to this... More

The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully unique. The view of the city from our balcony was spectacular. Rick and Carmen are wonderful. The house is beautiful, Rick's artwork is amazing, and Rick will help you appreciate the history of this vibrant city. Highly recommended.

After reading the many previous reviews at Tripadvisor of Casa Zuñiga, I was convinced this was the place I wanted to stay at during our honeymoon. And surely, Casa Zuñiga provided us not only with the most astonishing view of San Miguel de Allende, but also the most calm night and delicious breakfasts we had ever had. Plus, we got... More

My 2nd visit to this city was enhanced due to our stay at Casa Zuniga B&B. Rick & Carmen went out of their way to make us feel comfortable & spend time with us to share their deep knowledge of the rich cultural heritage of Guanajuato. The grounds of the B&B are immaculately kept up. The breakfast was delicious and... More

I thought that I would highlight some of the art at Casa Z. With Rick's wild imagination and a crew of talented workers, anything is possible. From metalwork and painting to the new 'electrical' display, if it looks cool, it was made in house. Take a tour, and while you're at it, ask Rick for the stories of the battle... More

If you want a real Guanajuato experience, this place is it. Carmen and Rick are awesome hosts. Their home is one-of-a-kind - delicious breakfasts, great conversation along with unforgettable history storytelling, expressive sculptures and the perfect lap pool. We stayed in the Morgan Room which was spacious and had a deck facing the city. I can't remember enjoying a room... More

My partner and I stayed with Rick and his wife for 3 nights during April and can honestly say Casa Zuniga exceeded our expectations. Rick was super flexible from the beginning and even let us choose which room we stayed in. Our room which had plenty of space and an unbeatable view of the city. The free breakfasts every morning... I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Zuniga. The view from the B&B is incredible, the breakfast was delicious (and different every day), and the staff was very friendly. Rick went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - from giving touring/dining recommendations, to even taking a trip to the mines with us so that we could understand the history. I... More

Wonderfully interesting B&B. Full of lovely art and sculptures related to Guanajuato and its history. The ownver, Rick, is very welcoming and informative and very generous with his time -- he may even take you on a personal tour. The B&B itself is huge and has outstanding views over the city. We highly recommend Casa Zuniga.
