We had the privilege of staying at Casa Zuniga this last January in the Langdin room, which accommodated two couples nicely, sharing a bathroom and dressing area and each room has a comfortable king-size bed, with bed lights, and storage for clothes with fresh water and cleaning provided daily. From the minute I contacted Rick and Carmen to make arrangements...

We stayed in the Margarita Room. It was large though sparsely furnished and had a comfortable king-size bed and excellent views of the city from high on a hill. The staff kept the room spotlessly clean. The bed was made, the towels changed, and a fresh pitcher of water supplied every day. It was chilly in the evenings in January,...

We visited Rick and Carmen just before Christmas and were extremely happy with the experience. The property is perched on the mountainside looking out over Old Town and is within easy walking distance of all of the town's attractions. Rick is an amazing host and a great source for the history and culture of the area. The facility is nicely...

If you're looking for the best, there is no better place to stay in Guanajuato and perhaps anywhere in the world than Casa Zuniga. Original and fantastic place with large rooms and panoramic city views. No need for an alarm clock , church bells and roosters will wake you up to delicious Mexican cuisine for breakfast. Central location but very...

Recently I stayed at casa Zuniga for New Years celebration. Rick is a wonderful person who helped us out with our doubts and made us feel as home. The view is amazing from all the rooms. The hotel is very clean and the morning breakfast is formidable.

We loved this place! Breakfast every morning is a feast. View of Guanajuato is fabulous. You are just a funicular ride away for the action below. Rick and Carmen are great hosts. Plus there's a pool. Rick really knows the history of the area and is quite a story teller - and artist. There is just no point in looking...

We have stayed with Rick & Carmen many times. They are splendid hosts and the rooms are spotless and located with a great view of Guanajuato at the top of the Finicula near the huge statue of Pipila. Rick and Carmen also give you free passes to the Finicula. Carmen serves a splendid breakfast to her guests from all over...

I returned to Casa Zuniga this year (stayed there in Oct 2015 for the first time) and it felt like going home (except Casa Z is much nicer and a lot more fun than my home!). Warmth, hospitality, beautiful rooms, incomparable views, out of this world breakfast -- it doesn't get any better. Most of all, though, the warmth of...
